I have always loved animals. Looking after them and spending time together on long walks is something that I truly enjoy doing. It brings me a lot of joy and peace and makes me happy to be able to provide pets with these small moments of joy. I grew up surrounded by various pets and it is something I miss a lot and find it hard to have in London. I regularly look after friends & family pets (mainly dogs) for both short and long-term periods. I would love to have a pet again of my own, but my lifestyle currently doesn't support this, hence why I am here instead! Throughout my life, I have done various volunteering work in animal charities and have worked in the veterinary industry for 5 years. Not in a vet or nurse capacity (that would've been cool!) but I've learnt a lot from working with vets on a regular basis and caring for an animal better and understanding their behaviour, health and well-being.
