Hi! I’m Sofia, a biology student at the University of Pittsburgh and a nurse aide at Concordia, where being dependable, attentive, and responsible is part of my everyday job. I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years. I regularly help family, friends, and neighbors with walking and pet care, and I’ve helped raise and train my grandma’s 60-pound dog since she was a puppy. I also walk my own energetic 70-pound dog every day, so I’m comfortable with large, active breeds. I love staying active and enjoy running, so if your dog enjoys longer walks or jogging, I’d be happy to keep them exercised. I understand that every dog has different needs and will always follow your care instructions to make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable. Because I work as a nurse aide from 3–11 p.m., I’m available for morning and early afternoon walks and drop-in visits. I pride myself on being punctual, reliable, and treating every pet like my own.
