Availability
Pet care fits really well into my weekly routine. I’m currently on a PT clinical rotation Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, and Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, which allows me to consistently offer drop-in visits and walks throughout the week. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I’m available for visits after 3:30 PM for afternoon/evening walks or check-ins. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have availability in the mornings before 10:00 AM and in the evenings after 6:00 PM. I do not offer overnight stays, but I’m very reliable for scheduled drop-ins and walks. I’m also typically available on weekends with a more flexible schedule, making it easy to accommodate multiple visits if needed. With my background as a student-athlete, I’m highly organized, dependable, and committed to sticking to a consistent routine for your pet.

I would like to know what kind of dog you have. I also want to know if they are reactive and how they do with new people. I would like to know how old they are. I would also like to know how they interact with dogs if they see them on a walk for example and if they are people-dogs or love all dogs. I would like to meet the dog beforehand with the owner present to make sure the doggy can meet me with a friendly face there. It would be useful to know if they have any fears such as storms, cars, or children for example.
A typical day
A typical visit with me is centered around keeping your pet happy, active, and comfortable in their own routine. For dogs, that usually starts with a walk or some outdoor time to get energy out, explore, and enjoy fresh air. I adjust the pace and length depending on your dog’s age and activity level whether that’s a longer, more active walk or a slower, relaxed stroll. After that, I like to spend time playing and engaging with them. This could be fetch, tug-of-war, or just giving them attention and affection. I also make sure all essentials are taken care of, like fresh water, feeding (if needed), and a quick check to make sure everything looks normal. For more energetic dogs, I’ll incorporate extra playtime. For older or more laid-back pets, I focus more on companionship and extra pets:) No matter the pet, my goal is to make each visit something they look forward to, keeping them active, cared for, and comfortable while you’re away.

Pet care experience
I’m the go-to sitter for my siblings, coaches, and friends, which speaks to the level of trust people place in me when it comes to caring for their pets. I genuinely love dogs and have a passion for making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for whether that means staying active with them or providing a calm, comforting environment. I have a soft spot for all dogs, but especially dream of one day having two golden retrievers of my own. Until then, I love any opportunity to spend time with and care for others’ pets as if they were mine. I’m currently on a clinical rotation at Athletico as part of my Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Washington University in St. Louis. With some time off from school this summer, I’m looking forward to helping out families who need reliable, attentive pet care. As a former SIUE women’s basketball player, I bring strong time management, discipline, and professionalism to everything I do. You can count on me to be responsible, communicative, and fully committed to giving your pet the best care possible.
