Hi! I'm Sofia, an experienced pet sitter, trainer, and groomer! I have one personal dog, a 40 pound black labradoodle, and four family dogs, ranging from chihuahuas to larger dogs. I have lots of exprience dealing with reactive or high-prey drive dogs, and know exactly how to handle them. I have always loved dogs since I was a kid and dreamed of having my own. Now that I have one, I love to pamper him. He is 1.5 years old and extremely dog friendly to everyone. I will bring your pup out on adventures since I live near many trails, or I can sit at home with them and bring some cuddles. Let me know if you want to chat more, because I am open to animals of all backgrounds, ages, and sizes! My love for animals never ends, and I am so excited I have an opportunity to watch them :)

Sofia is a wonderful dog-sitter... she took amazing care of our pup! 'Cesca was made to feel at home right away, and Sofia's dog Bo quickly became her new friend. We knew she'd be well taken care of from the time we first corresponded with Sofia to set up the play date. She was super timely and communicative, and when we met it was obvious she would be very responsible and take precautions so our active puppy wouldn't get into trouble :) We received pictures and updates during her stay that clearly showed 'Cesca was having a great time. No doubt there will be future play dates with Bo!
I have been using Rover for many years and Sofia is one of the best sitters. She made Penny extremely comfortable and bonded with her throughout the stay including with her dog Parker. She went above and beyond when we hit a snag picking Penny up and was very flexible in accommodating our needs. I highly recommend Sofia and would use her again.
Sophia did evening drop in for my 7months puppy! She is very communicative and follows instructions! We are booking again for next week!

Sofia was great with our Beau. She was caring and loving towards him and gave him a lot of attention. She is reliable and accommodating and updated us through texts and pictures. I felt at ease leaving Beau with her and will definitely book her again. Thank you so much Sofi!

Schedule
I am in my last semester before graduating, so I only go to campus twice a week for about an hour each time. I live 5 minutes away from campus and have a fenced in yard, as well as many trails in my neighborhood where I can spend time with your furry friends. I am open on weekends and would commit my time to taking care of them the best I can.

When caring for pets—whether in my home or someone else’s—I always prioritize their safety and comfort. I make sure the space is clean, calm, and free from anything they could accidentally get into. I stick closely to any feeding, walking, or medication instructions the owner provides, and I try to keep their routine as normal as possible so they feel at ease. I take time to build trust with each pet by being gentle, patient, and giving them lots of attention and affection. Whether it's playtime or just keeping them company, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy.

A typical day
I love keeping pets active and entertained! Depending on their personality and energy level, I’ll take them on walks, play fetch, tug-of-war, or run around the yard with them. If they’re more low-key, we can hang out together, cuddle, or play with toys inside. I also like giving them puzzle treats or teaching them simple tricks if they’re up for it. The goal is to keep them happy, stimulated, and feeling loved while their owners are away!
