Availability
As I am a university student, my days can differ every week but as I have access to my full schedule for the year, I can provide availability upon request. I am available every weekend and most weekday evenings/afternoons. Therefore I am able to house sit on weekends and provide walks in the evening/day time

As I can’t provide housing due to my accommodation, I will always prioritise the safety of the pet in their home such as not letting any visitors in, keeping them on leads when taken on walks in case recall isn’t working, (unless behaviour is great and owners support them not being kept on a lead) whilst being in somone else’s house I will observe and stay with the animals outside in their garden in case there are any routes/gaps in fences they can use to escape and make sure every information given by an owner will be taken seriously.

Please let me know about any medication, special needs that they have ahead of time so I can prepare. Please let me know if they are able to be taken off the lead or any dietary requirements I need to be aware off. If they are not able to socialise with other dogs/cats please make me aware so I do not take them off the lead and I can find a more quiet area for them to be taken on walks.
A typical day
Lots of runs in the park, playing games and whether they are able to be around other dogs I will make sure they have the chance to socialise. I will give recommended treats provided by me/owner and always encourage play with toys. If they are reptiles I will make sure they have time out the cage and are given food/drink at sensible times.

Hello! My name is Sofia and I am currently a student teacher at cardiff metropolitan university. I have been looking after animals such as Dogs, cats and Reptiles including chameleons and bearded dragons for about 2 years and currently have a little Westie of my own. As I won’t be able to provide housing due to my accommodation, when I visit someone’s home I make sure it stays nice and clean whilst looking after pets. I am an energetic individual and love lots of walks due to my athletic background I am able to keep up with any animals that need this type of exercise. I have great experience with big dogs including german shepherds as well as small terriers. As I have never done this professionally, most of my experience has come from house sitting for friends and family and I have had no complaints about the service I provide.

I booked Sofia to come and give my new puppy her midday feed and a toilet break. We also have a 10 year old boxer that Sofia gives some love to on her visits. She is great with the dogs, always punctual and a lovely person. Highly recommend.
Sofia looked after my labradoodle marvin for a week. She was the perfect dog sitter, I worry marvin liked her more than me 😅. She was incredible at listening to what we needed from her, she was reliable,kind and overall the perfect dog sitter. Would have her back anytime !!
