I follow your home’s rules and your pet’s care instructions closely to make sure they feel safe and you feel confident. I always double-check gates, locks, and am extra careful when opening doors. I keep a close eye on curious noses and paws—whether that means keeping terriers out of the trash or making sure no one snacks on mystery items during walks. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities!

I have known Sofia for several years now and I hire her consistently for house sitting and pet care needs. She is like one of the family! Her calm and caring demeanor are a perfect fit for my skittish chickens. Sofia gives me great peace of mind knowing that my chickens are safe, well fed, given plenty of water and their eggs are being collected daily. She keeps me posted on how my hens and dog are doing. My dog is given plenty of snuggle time, which is his favorite, lots of walks and most importantly lots of love! I know my home is being well cared for as she is very respectful of my property. I highly recommend Sofia for any pet-care needs, always a fantastic experience working with her, and the peace of mind while away is priceless.
Sofia has been caring for our dog for about 2 years now and he absolutely loves her, and so do we! She is extremely dependable, diligent, honest and is an excellent communicater. I know my dog is in great hands as Sofia is very trustworthy and compassionate, that is very evident in how our dog behaves when he sees her, he is always excited when he is at his home away from home. Without a doubt your dog will be in excellent hands, while he is in Sofia's care!
We've been working with Sofia for almost a year and Sofia is a great pet caregiver! Our West Highland Terrier-Jack Russell Terrier mix (and rescue) is very wary of people, including people he interacts with regularly. He doesn't really like physical contact, except from his Mom and Dad, and even then in limited amounts. But he's really taken to Sofia, more than any other pet sitter we've worked with previously. Sofia is very calm and gentle and her presence has a positive effect on our pup. He's happy to see her and will even let her pet him occasionally. Sofia is diligent about keep our pup on his walking and feeding schedule, and she plays with him/keep him engaged, when he's interested in that (which is not always.) Sofia is also very communicative, texting/sending photos as often or as little as we like, and keeping us informed if any issues. Sofia stays at our home and is very respectful of the space as well. It is a huge relief to have someone like Sofia to care for our pup when we are out of town. I highly recommend Sofia-she's the best!

I’m currently working part-time and remotely so I have a flexible schedule to be there for your pets! I’m happy to accommodate and discuss how I can be of service.

- It’s always helpful to know about anything that might help me care for your pet their best—whether that’s a tendency to bark loudly, moments of aggression, having accidents, or sometimes getting sick. I also like to hear about any quirks, routines, or unusual behaviors so I can make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. And of course, I’d love to know their favorite toys or the little things that make them happiest.
