Hi! My name is Sofia and caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have 3 pups back home (i’m a college student in Philly). I’ve also recently fostered several dogs from ACCT Philly, helping them adjust, socialize, and feel safe before finding their forever homes; giving me hands-on experience with a variety of temperaments and needs. Whether it’s cuddles, walks, playtime, or just some quiet companionship, I’m here to make sure your pet feels loved and cared for while you’re away!

Schedule
As a college student with a light schedule, I’m only on campus for a few hours each weekday - except Fridays - with my weekends being fully open, giving me lots of flexibility for pet care. I’m able to give your dog plenty of attention, walks, and playtime throughout the week and weekend!

Although I live in an apartment, my floor has a secure, closed-off patio space that I’ve used with my previous foster dogs for fresh air and playtime. Inside, I keep a calm and clean environment and i’m happy to follow whatever routine your per is used to - whether that is crating, specific feeding times, or any other instructions you provide. My priority is making sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while staying with me.
A typical day
I love tailoring activities to each dog’s energy level and personality! For playful pups, I’m always up for tug-of-war, fetch, or exploring new walking paths. For calmer dogs, I enjoy giving them plenty of affection, puzzle toys, or just relaxing together. If your dog enjoys training games or enrichment activities, I’m happy to include those too—my goal is to keep them engaged, happy, and loved while you're away!

- I always like to know about your dog’s daily routine, any quirks or triggers, how they typically behave around new people or other animals, and any medical needs or restrictions. I also find it helpful to know if they’re crate-trained, house-trained, or have separation anxiety. The more I know, the better I can make their stay as stress-free and enjoyable as possible!
