Pet care experience
Hi my name is Sofia and I am a Minneapolis public school teacher looking to help support you and your furry friend. My fiancé and I recently bought a home 2 years ago in Maple grove with a big fenced in backyard. Since high school I have dog, cat, lizard, bunny, and fish sat for friends and family. I also raised and cared for my very own furry friend Remy a Yorkshire terrier dog from puppy to over 12 years. Unfortunately due to old age we had to say goodbye. As an animal lover I enjoy finding new healthy foods and fun engaging games for the animals I see. If boarded at my home, there is a nice path down the street that is perfect for walks! However I am also available for walk visits as well to take your furry friend out in nature. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions and thank you!

I tried a few sitters before, but I never really trusted my boys were being given the attention they needed. Finding Sofia was a blessing! I wouldn't entrust anyone else with their care!
Sofia is super gentle and caring with each animal she meets. She puts so much thought and care into everything she does as she does teaching. My Australian Cattle Dog, Nelly, is always SO excited to see her and she always has great healthy dog snack ideas for her! Sofia is so amazing with her and honestly cares about her health and well-being!
Sofia always takes time to care for pets she is watching. She enjoys playing and showing love to dogs. She has learned a lot from dog sitting my dog for 5+ years.

A typical day
I love to keep a nice balance of exercise and leisure while taking care of pets. Whether it’s playing in the yard, taking a walk to the lake or just playing indoors with toys it’s always important to keep the pet engaged.

Availability
I work weekdays 7am-4pm and would be able to perform walk visits before or after work on the weekdays as well as anytime on the weekends. I am also available to board during the weekend if needed! My fiance also works from home half of the week and would be able to help support your pet as well!
