Hi :) My name is Sof, I am a animal lover who recently moved to Portland & am looking to spend some time helping to walk and take care of your best four-legged friend(s)! I am well equipped to handle any pet in any sort of weather (or with any health needs), as I have years (13) of experience walking my own German Shepard, Thor, for hours around my hometown Chicago and have plenty of experience walking/taking care of other peoples pets, from young puppies to seniors and even the trouble-makers ;) I feel I have a special connection with animals & I would love the opportunity to develop a connection with and help care for yours. I like working with animals because they bring me joy & I feel I have the ability to help them, connect with them, and bring them joy! I started working with a long range of animals in 7th grade when I was voted to be the animal caretaker for the school's many animals. I would say my approach to caring is being patient and understanding of the animal's needs and wants.

Sofia is an excellent pet caregiver. I have a German Sheppard and a Lab. I was out of town for a week and half and Sofia took care of them the entire time. They get hard food and soft food and get 3 walks a day. Sofia followed the instructions and spent time playing with them as well. Sofia is very professional and will take great care of your pets!! I highly recommend and will be requesting her next time I leave town.
How can one describe with words the invisible bonding that Sofia generates with animals? I have witnessed ongoing silent conversations between her and our dog, which only required eye contact, a caress, a hug, a gentle paw on her hand. Sofia is a delicate being, wholehearted and devoted to the wellbeing of dogs, loving with their care, gentle with their treatment, patient and timed with their feeding. In few words, Sofia has an innate an unique ability to connect with, to attract the attention of, and to create a peaceful, dynamic, and nurturing environment for dogs in particular, and most animals in general.
Sofia B. is great with animals! She loves cats and dogs and is very caring and patient with them. Sofia will create a strong bond with your pet, so they will become buddies and have a lot of fun together. I will highly recommend her service as a pet sitting and walking.
Sofia has always done a great job with my pit bull. She is gentle with dogs, a good communicator, and is also good at getting nice pictures! Definitely recommend.
