I’m a student, so I’d actually love to spend some time studying with the cats around, it’s something I really enjoy and find calming. I have two cats back in Italy, where I’m from, and I miss them a lot, so I’ll make sure to give plenty of attention and care to the cats I’m looking after! My schedule is quite flexible depending on my projects, which makes it easy for me to adapt to the cats’ needs and maintain a consistent routine for them.

I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for, whether they’re in my home or in a client’s home. I stick closely to their usual routine, feeding them on schedule, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes regularly, and making sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I also really respect cats for who they are, I don’t expect them to behave like dogs, and I would never try to force cuddles or interaction. I let them come to me on their own terms and respect their boundaries, because I see them as very smart, independent animals. When I’m in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow all instructions carefully to keep the pet’s routine consistent. I also keep the environment clean and tidy, and I’m happy to send updates and photos so owners feel reassured while they’re away!

It’s important for me to know in advance if your cat needs any special care or treatments, and I’m very happy to adapt accordingly. I can also administer medication if needed, as long as it’s given orally.
A typical day
I love spending quality time with the pets I watch, playing with them, keeping them mentally stimulated, and of course cuddling (when they’re in the mood!). I enjoy using toys to engage their natural curiosity and make sure they stay active and entertained, and I’m just as happy to relax quietly together and keep them company. A fun fact about cats is that even well-fed domestic cats still have a strong hunting instinct, it’s not about hunger, but about stimulation and natural behavior! That’s why playtime is so important, as it mimics hunting and helps keep them happy and balanced.

Sofia loves cats very much and that shows. She sent pictures every day and when I came home they were happy and well taken care of.
Sofia was great with our two cats from day 1! We got regular pictures and updates. She was very responsive, so we could feel secure about the cats the entire time!
Sofia is a wonderful cat sitter who communicates clearly. Our cat enjoys her company! We have used her cat sitting services three times now and each time she has been helpful and provided clear and kind communication, including coordinating her visits on the days we leave and come back. We (and our cat) would love to have her as a cat sitter again
Sofia is a very kind person and she’s amazing with cats. The cats seemed to really enjoy her visits and Sofia sent me plenty of pictures and videos of them which helped me enjoy my days away without worries. Everything went perfect!
