I care for all my fur babies as they were my own! I pride myself in establishing trust, especially with anxious dogs. In addition, I am very careful to dog proof my environment, keeping food and choking hazards out of reach at all times.

I am very flexible and accommodating to all pets! To give proper care, I like to do a meet and greet prior to the first visit. I also request that owners let me know of any special needs or behaviors that I should know ahead of time.
A typical day
When dog sitting, I pay special attention to the dog’s personality. If your dog is more active I like to take long walks, playing fetch, light training if needed, and make sure they sniff around new environments to make sure they are comfortable! If your dog is more on the mellow side I will give them lots of belly rubs and cuddles. I find that stimulation is very important for all dogs as a lack can often lead to hyper activity. For this reason, I try to introduce activities or games that keep them focused and entertained throughout their stay.

Hi everyone! I’m Sofía! I’m a recent graduate from the University of Michigan with a degree in Sociology. I’ve been living in Ann Arbor for a few years and am excited to welcome new clients! I grew up in a dog-loving family and have been caring for dogs since I was 8 years old. Back home, I have two pups—a playful black poodle and a spunky chihuahua—so I have plenty of experience with different sizes and temperaments. Whether it’s going for walks, playing, cuddling, or giving the best tummy rubs, I love spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy and comfortable. I’d love to lend a helping hand with your pup—feel free to reach out, preferably a week in advance. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend!
