Any behavioral quirks or triggers (e.g., fear of loud noises, leash reactivity, dislike of strangers). For Dogs: Walking routine—Preferred routes, leash habits, and energy levels. Socialization—Do they like other dogs or prefer solo walks? For Cats: Litter box habits and cleaning preferences. Comfort level with new people—Do they enjoy attention or need space? The more I know, the better I can make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away!
A typical day
I tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level to make sure they have fun while staying safe! For Dogs: I’ll take them on engaging walks (always on a leash unless the owner requests otherwise), play fetch, tug-of-war, or work on basic commands for mental stimulation. If they love adventure, we can explore different walking routes to keep things exciting! For Cats: I’ll engage them with interactive play using toys like feather wands, laser pointers, or catnip mice. If they prefer a more relaxed vibe, I’ll provide gentle petting, cozy lap time, or just quiet companionship. No matter the pet, I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment to keep them happy while you're away!

Sofia did an outstanding job of watching our 3 dogs and home while we were out of town for over a week. From first introduction, she gained the love and trust of all of our dogs especially one of which that needs special attention and care. She regularly sent updates and photos throughout the day which provided assurance that our dogs were being cared for properly and were having a great time. Sofia is welcomed back into our home anytime, and we will be seeking her out the next time we need an in-home dog sitter.
