Hi! I'm Sofia, a University of Michigan graduate and lifelong animal lover with over 12 years of experience providing dog walking, pet sitting, and boarding services. I've cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and support. My approach is straightforward: I treat every pet like they're my own. Whether I'm taking your dog on a long walk, staying with them while you're away, or caring for them in my home, I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, active, and loved. I'm happy to follow specific routines, provide medication, reinforce training, send updates and photos, and adapt to each pet's unique needs and personality. I have reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and references available upon request. We also have a sweet friendly chorkie who enjoys meeting new friends. My family and I own our home in Ann Arbor with a big yard, and someone is always home, so pets receive plenty of attention, companionship, and care. Sofia was FANTASTIC with our puppy. She welcomed Rai into her and her dog Lilo's home for 5 days. Sofia took wonderful care of Rai and provided detailed updates and lots of pictures during their time together - Rai was obviously very comfortable with Sofia, her dog and their home and even slept belly up around the house, which says it all! We would love to have Sofia watch Rai again in the future :)
Sofia accepted our request for a last minute weekend boarding. She was great! She was easy to communicate with and was very kind and loving with our dog. Our dog has a very sensitive stomach so has some serious food restrictions. Sofia took this seriously and it was great to pick up a happy healthy pup on Sunday! It was also nice to get updates and pictures throughout the weekend. We would highly recommend and would book again in the future!

Sophia does a great job and gives our high-energy dog a good work out! She’s also very kind and good with him. We needed a dog Walker for the short term and she’s been a huge help.

Zeitplan
I am at home during the week, so your pet will get love 24/7! On a day to day basis, I am home and my family works from home as well. I am pretty flexible and am happy to adjust to a specific schedule if preferred.

I care for all my fur babies as they were my own! I pride myself in establishing trust, especially with anxious dogs. In addition, I am very careful to dog proof my environment, keeping food and choking hazards out of reach at all times.

Ein typischer Tag
When dog sitting, I pay special attention to the dog’s personality. If your dog is more active I like to take long walks, playing fetch, light training if needed, and make sure they sniff around new environments to make sure they are comfortable! If your dog is more on the mellow side I will give them lots of belly rubs and cuddles. I find that stimulation is very important for all dogs as a lack can often lead to hyper activity. For this reason, I try to introduce activities or games that keep them focused and entertained throughout their stay.

- I am very flexible and accommodating to all pets! To give proper care, I like to do a meet and greet prior to the first visit. I also request that owners let me know of any special needs or behaviors that I should know ahead of time.
