Hi there! Ive spent a lot of time volunteering at the Hayward Animal Shelter, so I've cared for all kinds of dogs and cats, from energetic younger ones to calm senior pets. I’ve also had pets all my life and have been pet sitting for quite a while so im very confident in handling different personalities and needs, and i love making sure every dog feels happy, safe, and loved while their owners are away. My experience with many animals gave me the skills to give ur pet the extra attention and care they would need!

Although I boarded my pup for a short trip, Socorro took amazing care of him. Communication was great, I received multiple photos of my goofball, and I can tell he was really happy to be there. We will definitely use her services again. Thank you so much for watching JJ!
Her home was so warm and welcoming. She sent cute pictures of Bleu the whole time we were gone, which we appreciate. He was so happy to come home, but we could tell he was happy to be with Socorro. Our dog is older and needs a little extra care which they supported. We are very, very satisfied and we’ll plan on using Socorro again for future boarding needs. We highly recommend Socorro.
Socorro is an AMAZING dog sitter. My puppy bogey loves staying with her. She takes great care, sends lots of photos & responds quickly! Definitely will be using Socorro again!
I can’t say enough good things about this sitter. She kept me updated throughout the stay, sent plenty of photos, and made sure my dog felt comfortable and loved. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the pets she watches. I felt totally confident leaving my dog with her, and I’ll be booking her again without hesitation. I cannot recommend Socorro enough! As a naturally anxious dog mom to my 10-pound toy poodle, Teddy, finding someone I trust has always been a challenge. I’ve honestly put traveling and going out on the back burner for a long time because I didn’t have anyone who could care for him the way I do. A friend recommended Rover, and that’s when I found Socorro—and I’m so glad I did. From the very beginning, she was extremely prompt and kind, which immediately put me at ease. She invited us for a meet and greet where she took the time to get to know Teddy and showed us around her home. She asked thoughtful questions about his personality, feeding routine, and daily needs, which I really appreciated. One of my biggest concerns was making sure Teddy would be comfortable, especially since he prefers sleeping on a human bed (instead of his own, of course!). Socorro was completely understanding and accommodating. The drop-off was seamless, and throughout my trip she kept me updated with plenty of pictures and messages. That level of communication made such a difference—I was actually able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing Teddy was in such good hands. When I picked him up, he was so happy—it truly felt like he had his own little vacation! It’s clear he was loved and well cared for the entire time. I will absolutely be rebooking with Socorro for future stays. Teddy loved her, and so did I. If you’re looking for someone who will truly spoil your pup while providing exceptional care, I highly recommend giving her a try!

Schedule
Im currently doing online school for about 2 hours a day but aside from that, I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I’ll be able too around your schedule to make sure your pet gets the love and care that they need:)

Safety, trust & environment
I make sure your fur babies feel safe, happy, and especially comfortable in my care. I give them lots of attention and let them roam around with me if they want inside or outside. My home has a doggy door connecting the house, garage, and backyard, so dogs can go outside whenever they like. My home is also very secure with cameras for extra safety!! I offer hair brushing, doggy showers, teeth brushing upon request, toys, and plenty of different types of treats. Weather at your home or mine, I try my very best to create a fun, loving, and safe environment so every pet feels at home!
A typical day
I love to spend lots of time playing, going on walks, and giving them attention. If they want to relax we can hangout on my couch or wherever theyd like. If they want to be active, we can play fetch, explore outside or go for walks around the neighborhood.
