What sets me apart is my medical background and hands-on animal experience across a wide range of species. I worked veterinarian settings for 6-10 years, so I’m comfortable monitoring health changes, administering basic medications, and recognizing early signs of illness or distress. Safety and attentiveness come naturally to me. I also hold a Bachelors in agriculture, which gives me a strong understanding of animal behavior, nutrition, and proper husbandry. I regularly foster puppies and dogs, as well as cats and kittens, so I’m experienced with: • Potty training & crate training • Socialization and basic obedience • Bottle feeding & neonatal care • Senior pet comfort and mobility support Your pets won’t just be watched — they’ll be understood, monitored, and genuinely cared for like family.

Skylynn did a special request stay for me, spending two hours with my dogs. My Great Pyrenees had oral surgery two days ago and I didn’t want him ripping out his stitches again out of anxiety from being put into his crate. She was wonderful with my three dogs, playing outside and giving them all the love they demanded.
Skylynn has cared for my teacup schnauzer, Estella, several times now, and every single experience has been wonderful. I always feel completely at ease leaving her because I know she’ll be loved, watched closely, and treated like family. She comes home happy, calm, and clearly well cared for — and that means everything to me.
I can’t say enough about the care Skylynn has given to Athena. She was a big, spirited dog, and not everyone could handle her energy and personality—but Skylynn did it with patience, love, and understanding. From long walks to playtime, and even the little moments when she just wanted cuddles, Athena clearly felt safe, happy, and loved. It’s rare to find someone who treats a dog not just as a pet, but as family. She went above and beyond every day, and I trusted her completely with Athena’s well-being. Athena has since passed but every visit was amazing.
Skylynn is a wonderful caregiver. She is very attentive and consistent. She demonstrates individual care , understanding that very pet is different. When my elderly,blind pup wouldn't come out of her kennel, Skylynn cleverly used my voice ,I had sent her on instructional video, to coax her out :). She knows that patience is essential while simotainlorusly asserting authority. Skylynn has taken the time to research many different animals and breeds of animals so she can better care for them. It's a passion for her, not just a paycheck.
Sky has dog sat for me for years. I do dog rescue and she has been able to watch up to 11 different dogs at my house. She’s been fantastic with puppies all the way up to full grown Great Danes. She’s polite, reliable, and never left a mess in my home. Highly recommend! Tell your dog my dogs say hi!
Absolutely amazing care giver. Words can not express how at ease, I am with leaving my fur babies in Skylynn cares. We have one dog Mocha and one cat Iris.

As a stay-at-home mom, my days are centered around caring for others — which makes pet visits a natural and dedicated part of my routine. I structure my schedule around reliable drop-ins, giving each pet calm, unhurried attention and consistent care throughout the day.

I follow feeding schedules closely, refresh water, administer medications if needed, and provide attentive companionship tailored to each pet’s personality — whether that’s playtime, enrichment, quiet company, or extra cuddles. I’m respectful of your home, clean in my habits, and mindful of details. I send consistent updates with photos so you can feel fully at ease while you’re away. My goal is for you to return to a happy, relaxed pet and a home just as you left it.
A typical day
I believe short visits should still feel intentional and enriching. In 10–20 minutes, I provide meaningful stimulation through scent games, gentle play, and affectionate bonding time. Your companion isn’t just “checked on” — they are engaged, encouraged, and emotionally cared for. I strive to create a calm, luxury-level experience that keeps tails relaxed and hearts happy.
