Hi! I’m Skyler, a recent University of Michigan graduate spending the summer in Solana Beach before moving to NYC in September. I’ve been caring for dogs for over 5 years and genuinely love spending time with animals. I’ve provided dog sitting, overnight care, walks, feeding, playtime, and medication for dogs of all ages and sizes. I’ve dog sat for many families through local Facebook groups. My own dog had epilepsy, so I have personal experience caring for a dog with medical needs, including administering medication and recognizing when extra attention is needed. I treat every pet like they’re my own and will make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your dog!! :)

Skyler isn't just a pet sitter - she has a true love for animals and grew up taking care of Rhodesian Ridgebacks, including one with seizure disorder. She has an innate ability to understand dogs and has cared for them in her home as well as theirs. Skyler also volunteered in high school at a farm-animal rescue and made trips to help out at Best Friends Pet Sanctuary in Utah. Skyler is responsible and communicative, and will take great care of your pet. I highly recommend Skyler!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule this summer and am available most weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I have plenty of time to provide walks, drop in visits, overnight stays, and lots of attention, playtime, and care for your pets.

I always follow each pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and safe. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, fresh water, meals, and any medications they need. I treat every pet and every home with the same care and respect that I would my own.
