I always familiarize myself with your pet before I start working with them. I like to make sure I have their trust before I just slap on a leash or just start invading their space. Sometimes pets need to warm up to the stranger in their home before that stranger can work with them, and it can be scary when their humans are away.

I prefer to know if the pet has any tendencies to be reactive in certain situations, food allergies, or health conditions beforehand, but otherwise I have no concerns or preferences on breed or behavior.
A typical day
I love to explore parks and off-the-beaten-path places in my own neighborhood and beyond. Dogs also love seeing new and novel places in their own backyard, and I love helping them explore it. I love cats, too! I sometimes bring an acoustic guitar to longer sittings and do a little Cat-erwauling. Some cats like to snuggle, others like to play. Still others like to hide the whole time, and that's totally fine!

Years of petcare experience under my belt, and continue to work with pets as a significant part of my life. I actively work on training with my own two reactive strong-pulling dogs, and I will happily take strong pullers, anxious, reactive or energetic pets, or just an "atypical" pet. I'm not scared off by scales, tails, or "too-many-legs."

Sky was very personable and kind, and was able to watch over our cats upon fairly short notice. Her visit overviews were very detailed and the cats liked her.
