Hello, I am Skylar's father and have seen her around pets her entire life. We got our first cats when she was 7 years old, and she still cares for them dearly (one passed two years ago, at which time we got another one). I'm old school, and when I refer to the cats as "it", she is quick to correct me, "she, you mean". There is no doubt that she loves and respects animals. At her moms house she had a dog and another two cats, which she cared for. She cares for all living things, in fact. Yes, I'm her father. But my objective opinion is that she is very responsible, and would be a great caretaker of any animal. In support of this, she took one of her cats to college with her. It stayed in her dorm room. She never left it alone for long, and she kept it safe from the outdoor critters which were abundant in the wooded areas nearby. Regards, Kevin
