As an avid pet owner for over 15 years, I have plenty of experience with all sorts of animals! No pet is too much for me! I’ll treat your fur baby just like my own. I care for 3 cats and two dogs currently in my own home, and both are very friendly and welcoming to other furry guests! As a previous veterinary assistant and doggy daycare attendant/dog trainer, and animal shelter attendant, I pride myself on the knowledge and experience I have dealing with animals everyday. I’m hoping that with Rover, I can spend my time doing the things I love most, caring for pets! I’m a very trustworthy and reliable person, and I’m hoping that you can put your trust in me to take care of your fur baby in the way you would yourself! I have my Dogsafe Canine First Aid certificate as well as my Fear Free certificate so you’ll feel confident knowing your baby is in safe hands! I am a certified dog trainer with 3 years of experience in a professional setting. I offer Walk and Train programs for all of my clients which can include training your dog on leash manners, distractions, and basic obedience! These Walk and Train options are reflected in the price per walk. Please contact me if you are interested in adding a training option to walks or if you would like more information!

If you choose me for drop in visits or house sitting, I will always make sure your fur baby is comfortable, has all the necessities, and most importantly is having the most fun possible! I really enjoy taking dogs for walks either around the neighbourhood or on trails if that is something you would be comfortable with!

Skylar is the very best! We love her! This time, she noticed we labeled something wrong, double checked the instructions and what she has been doing during the stay, and then reached out to us to verify and notify us. I love the open communication and all the love for our fur babies!
Skylar is knowledgeable, reliable, and communicates extremely well. I feel like my large breed dogs couldn't be in better hands when we need to leave town without them. I also have a rescue who is very fearful in general, but Skylars kind and patient manner won him over. I cannot say enough good things about Skylar, and highly recommend her to care for tour pets
Skylar is amazing, and exactly what we were looking for to both help me with training my large breed rescue, and also drop in visits while I was out of town. I have very spoiled, velcro Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and they don't do well when I'm gone; but Skylar made them comfortable, and more importantly gave me the confidence my boys were in great hands while I was gone. I highly recommend her, and wouldn't hesitate to have her care for my dogs again.
Skylar is absolutely incredible! 😻 She’s now officially part of our family! It’s true that no one loves your kids or fur babies quite like you do, but Skylar matches our love for them perfectly, and we wholeheartedly trust her with our home and our fur babies. She is truly phenomenal!
I have been using Rover for many years and have had mixed results with sitters. Skylar has been the best sitter I have had and would recommend her to anyone. Her communication, flexibility, and overall care for our pets was the best I’ve had. She was wonderful with our reactive dogs, patient with our shy cat, and extremely accommodating when our travels ran into delays.
Skylar is exceptional! She consistently exceeds expectations in fulfilling her house-sitting duties and caring for our beloved pets. I am truly grateful for her help! I give her five stars for her outstanding character, punctuality, communication, and the love and care she brings to our home and animals. I cannot thank her enough or give her enough positive praise!
