I work full time, however I am available most evenings and weekends. I do my best to keep my calendar updated, so if it says available on my calendar, 90% of the time I am.

In and outside of your home, safety of your pets and myself are always my top priority. Even pets who have no behavioral issues can act differently with a stranger in their home. This is what makes meet and greets so important. Homes with more than one pet will all be fed in separate spaces to prevent any resources guarding reactions. Dogs who live in unfenced yards, will be taken out on leash, even if you usually let them out without one. On walks, dogs will not be allowed to interact with anyone to ensure the safety of them and me. With cats, it's very normal for them to hide during all visits, however I still do my best to determine their health and well being by checking that litter boxes have been used and food and water are being consumed. I provide detailed report cards for each visit.

A typical day
I love to give your pets, lots of love and attention...if fetch is their thing, that's what we will do..or if cuddling on the couch is their preference, we can do that too☺️.

Hello! My name is Skylar. I am an active, positive, animal lover. I have over 10 years of both dog and cat ownership. I have also managed a commercial pet boarding facility and worked in animal rescue. Currently I work full time, however I am available my most evenings and all weekends. At this time I am only able to offer drop in visits and dog walks. However I have had many past clients who book multiple drop in visits per day in lieu of house sitting or boarding. I do my best to honor last minute requests for existing clients. I do require in person meet in greets for all new clients and encourage you to book a meet and greet (at no charge) to establish a working relationship before a sitter need is required.

Just got home a little bit ago, and my cats seemed perfectly happy. I can definitely tell that they were played with and loved on while we were gone based on their behavior. I looked forward to seeing photos of them every morning and night of our trip, and it really helped keep me worry free 🤍
Skylar was great! My cat took to her right away! She was very comfortable with medicating my diabetic cat. We will definitely be using Skylar again.
