I’m based in Pomona and am absolutely amazing with animals. I provide detailed updates, photos, and love making pets feel safe and happy while their humans are away. I’ve been caring for pets since I was 7 years old walking dogs in my neighborhood and pet sitting for families throughout town. During COVID and the years after, I fostered dogs full-time, which gave me hands on experience with a wide range of personalities, medical needs, and training challenges. That experience taught me how to handle everything from high energy puppies to seniors who need extra support. I’ve worked with pets who have anxiety, medical conditions, and behavior quirks and I always approach each one with patience, structure, and care. I was previously working as a dog bather and am experienced in all the regular procedures like nail trims, ear cleanings, teeth brushing, gland expressions, and light trims for pups. Whether your pet needs a walk, meds, training reinforcement, or just cuddles and calm companionship, I’m here to provide reliable, loving care.

In My Home: I provide a calm, cozy, and safe environment where your pet is treated like family. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medications, and playtime. I keep their sleeping area clean and comfortable, and make sure they receive lots of love, enrichment, and attention throughout the day. In Your Home: I aim to maintain your pet’s routine and comfort level with as little disruption as possible. I carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, litter box cleaning, crate routines, and any other care specifics. I also keep your home tidy, check for any pet-related messes, and always make time for cuddles, play, and companionship. Whether in my home or yours, I prioritize your pet’s safety, emotional comfort, and well-being. I’m happy to adjust based on your needs just let me know what works best for you and your pet.

Skylar was great with my dogs. I really appreciate her taking great care of them and our house while we were gone on short notice. I most definitely will hire her again.
We booked Skylar to care for our three cats for two weeks and she was on time for drop-ins and attentive during each session. She was respectful and able to adapt to each cat's personality, especially one of our high-energy cats, and gave them all plenty of pets and treats. Skylar brought in our mail and packages; kept our spaces clean, and even handled our bins for trash collection days. Will definitely book Skylar again in the future and highly recommend her!

Schedule
I am currently working full time as well as attending full time college. I am available during the week days after 4pm and free on the weekends besides a few classes I am attending. I am pretty flexible and can work with you on what you require of me.
