Stay at Home Mama + Dog Mama
Hello! My name is Skylar and I am a housewife and stay-at-home mom to my 8 year old son, Miles, and my 6 year old daughter, Juniper, and my two frenchies and one kitty! I am 34 years old and have grown up with dogs and cats in our home all of my life. They've always been my family! I've been pet sitting since I was in high school and began doing it full time in 2017. I know how hard it is to leave your dog while you work or go out of town and I know just how important your pets are to you, so I want to take care of them and treat them like our own! Because I am a stay-at-home mom to two young kids, weekdays before my husband comes home from work, they might need to come on drop ins or walks with me. They both absolutely loves dogs as much as I do! They're my little sidekicks. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room for running. My two fur babies are super friendly and LOVE to meet new friends. They are getting older now and have a low energy level. They can definitely be playful, but they spend most of their day napping on the couch. Our dogs are allowed on all furniture and sleep on our bed, so there's not many boundaries over here :)

Skylar took amazing care of Kingston. He's an anxious doggie, but she took extra care to make sure he would get his medication and even hand fed him once when he wasn't eating. With the consistant updates and picture updates, it lifted my own anxiety being a first time Rover user. Pick up and drop off at my home was perfect. Finding someone to watch your family member can be a little scary, but Skylar created such great trust with Kingston. If I'm looking for a sitter in the future, Skylar will be the first person on the list I look to book with.
Skylar was outstanding with our female Yorkie Terrier. She kept in contact, gave daily updates, and sent pictures. We could tell our little one was very happy and well taken care of. We highly recommend Skylar, and will absolutely request her again when we go on vacation. The Landeen's

Skylar is my favorite Rover sitter, so far I've used her 4 times and feel comfortable and at ease when I leave Bailey with her. She sends pics and gives daily updates which is appreciated. Of course I will use her again and again.

Skylar watched our dog, Sophie, for the second time, and once again she was amazing! She kept us updated with regular messages and lots of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that Sophie was happy, loved, and exceptionally well cared for throughout her stay. We truly appreciate the attention and care Skylar provides, and it’s comforting to know Sophie is in such great hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!

Schedule
Being a stay-at-home mom, I spend most of my time at home and am always available for any pups that are staying with me. I occasionally need to leave to drop my kids off to school or to their activities or run errands, but we spend the majority of our days at home, hanging out with our doggies and cat!

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs staying in my home will have full access to our house. We let them roam wherever they’d like and on any furniture. We have a sliding door leading to our fenced backyard and I let pups outside for frequent potty breaks and to explore/play if they’d like to do so. If I need to leave the house to chauffeur my kids around to their activities or run an errand, I have indoor security cameras so I can keep an eye on your pets and make sure they’re safe while I'm gone. I usually only leave the house for an hour or two at a time.

A typical day
We have a great, walkable neighborhood that is very dog friendly. Pups will get lots of exercise, playing fetch in our backyard. We also love to snuggle on the couch and relax. Since I'm home full time, your pup will always be getting attention and interaction.
