I work at a dog boarding, training, and grooming facility. I work 5 days a week starting at 8am and get off anywhere between 2pm and no later than 4:30pm.

I live in a spacious house where all dogs are leashed. We have parks all around for pups to get out and run on leash. I have the capability of keeping your animals separate from mine if need be. For pups staying with me they can be kenneled, put in a separate room, or left to roam while I am not at home. My personal dogs get 2-3 walks a day around the neighborhood and outings to nature parks when the weather permits it. When I am not home I have a camera watching over my dogs so I can keep an eye on them.

I do not turn away pets for behavioral issues, or medical needs I just need to know ahead of time so I can accommodate !
A typical day
I plan activities based on your pets needs. For more active dogs I can do, long walks or runs, play on a long line, small training sessions to work your dogs mind, and longs games of their choosing. For less active dogs I do short walks, short play sessions, long line exploring and more!

I have been animal sitting, walking, and boarding for five years. I have experience with all ages, medical needs, reactivity, grooming, shy/nervous animals, and can give medications. I have been fostering for Kentucky humane society since 2020 and have had a very wide range of different personalities and needs in my home. I also have experience with livestock including horses, small caged animals, and reptiles.

I found Skylar at a place I take my dog for grooming. She has since been walking and pet sitting for me. I always know my pets are in good care when I’m gone. She has helped tremendously with training my stubborn husky. He gets enough exercise now with me working long shifts. She has no issues with his extensive meal plan. Skylar is always amazing with my super shy cat and had her out of hiding within an hour!
Skylar has taken care of my pets for a long time now and I’ve never been more satisfied! They are always having a good time either it’s chilling on the couch or out walking and running. She makes sure they are safe and has always been comfortable providing their medications. I cannot recommend her more.
