Loving care when you’re not there
I am a former Ranch hand for a rescue and rehabilitation ranch and I have had pets my entire life. I have cared for all types of animals big and small from cows, horses and llamas to chickens, rabbits, lizards and even the occasional fish. I grew up around dogs and cats and I am honored and excited to be caring for yours. I have been a pet and ranch sitter for all of my teen and adult years, I am the go-to sitter for my family and friends as well as many of my neighbors. I have experience in many areas including but not limited to administering various medications, special needs, elderly animals, very young and newborn animals, feeding raw diets and first aid and cpr for pets. I am patient with people and animals as I know that I am a new person and you and your pets need time to get to know and trust me. My home is full of love and with plants and my two cats. I always want to get to know both the pets and the owner before I start caring for new animals so everyone is comfortable and care instructions are clear and have been gone over. My goal is to make your pets as happy and comfortable as possible so it is like you never left home.

I am a very experienced care provider for all shapes and sizes of animals and I am very detail oriented. I follow all care instructions, medication dosages and feeding instructions down to the last detail. I have experience with large farm animals down to small caged pets from special needs intervention and care to hands off care. I practice safe introduction, safe walk techniques and double barrier methods when it comes to entrances and exits in the home. I take the necessary time to get to know you and your pets' needs and learn their body language and signs to ensure they have the best time with me possible. I also document everything, I love taking videos and pictures of how the pets are doing and how the stay is going. I will treat your pets like my own with love, affection and care.

Skyla was so professional and communicative. She was also incredibly caring and responsible. She sent us daily updates and our house was immaculate upon our return. Our dogs were extremely well cared for and I will definitely be asking Skyla for another booking.
Skyla was outstanding!! She cared for our babies for 9 days. Sent pictures, and updates on each one. If you need some to feed and love on your fur babies while you are gone absolutely go with Skyla!
Skyla was absolutely wonderful and so loving to our babies. She was flexible (we had some travel issues), attentive, and kept in great communication. We would love if she came back again to help our pets!
Skyla was amazing! I had to book someone last minute for the holidays, and she was so responsive and quick to accommodate that booking. While I was gone, she took great care of my boys and they immediately loved her. She brought a laser pointer to play with them too! She had great communication, sent updates, photos, and was attentive. I would definitely book her again!
Skyla did the most amazing job taking care of our dog and cat. Such good communication, attention to detail and made us feel that our babies were well taken care of. Love the updates and pictures she sent throughout the day. Highly recommend!!

Schedule
I have a very set work schedule and I work from home. I am flexible with times and have Sundays and Mondays completely free. I am happy to work with you and your pets needs and find the best times for care.
