I am simply passionate about the wellbeing and safety of all animal, big and small, and for that reason I’ve joined DogVacay to be valuable resource for those fur parents that share this compassion and from time to time need a little help. About Me As a child I’ve grew up with animals of all sizes (hamsters, gerbil, rabbits, parakeet, cats and any stray we could convince our grandmother to allow us to bring home until we found their owner or could have pick up by animal control) so my love of animals is not limits to dogs. I am located in West End area of Atlanta, Georgia with my two large fur children, Venus and Hope. Before becoming a pet parent, myself, I was auntie or god mommy to many of my friend’s dogs because I’d volunteer to take their pet for a weekend just because or volunteer to help when they were going through hard times to ensure they never have to make a decision between keeping their pet or letting it go; a decision, I believe, no pet parent ever wants to be in the position to have to make. I’ve raised litters (9-10 pups per litter) of puppies and with this responsibility I was responsible for administering deworming medication, upkeep of living space, scheduling and taking them to mandatory vaccination appointments. In addition, I ensured the dam received a proper nutritional diet to regain her weight after the pregnancy and pass on proper nutrient on to the pups for proper and healthy growth. Living Space: 2 bedroom basement apartment The 2nd bedroom is my dog’sbed room but most of the time you'll catch them, and any visitor, no more than 3-5 feet from my feet or sleep in the living room on the designated dog loveseat ( it never works out that way because they are always end up on the sofa with me ?). My Experience Pet Sitting - daily dogs walks, house breaking (Crate Training), grooming, cleaning play/sleeping areas. Caring for ailing dog - administered medication, watched pup over night to ensure it was ok. Scheduled Appointments - Assisted my neighbor with care and upkeep of his pups. Transported them to the vet to keep them current with their annual vaccines. A lot of playtime. I am a very laid back person but I truly enjoy playing with the pups and giving out a lot of hugs... and treats ( as long as it OK with the pet owner). ** Payment for services are not paid until the completion of your pet stay.
