I’ve been super lucky and grown up around dogs, so looking after them is like a second nature to me. At my family home I lived with 6 dogs (!) so I have tons of experience caring for all different breeds, sizes and ages. I have experience in looking after other people’s dogs, for friends and family and mutuals of them. I also have experience in looking after dogs in season, dogs who have high energy levels, and older dogs who require that bit more tlc. I am super reliable and will give your dog loads of love and care, whilst keeping you updated with pictures and check ins x I’m currently in full time employment as a NHS nurse working a shift pattern, so my schedule will change every week. I typically have 3 days off a week. I live with my partner who is a chef so we try and accommodate your dog so they aren’t left alone. For future availability please feel free to message me as I can request my shifts in advance. We live in a flat which has a small concrete fenced garden area. It is a 10 minute walk from Roath park, so there is plenty of outdoor space and nearby walks. I drive so if your dog prefers a longer walk then there is an option for this.

Herbie had another great stay with Skye! She was very communicative and took time to made sure she knew how to make sure Herbie was comfortable and in his routine for being left on his own. He's looking forward to his next stay in October 😊

Skye and Finn were absolutely brilliant with Herbie. They offered to help us at really short notice after another sitter cancelled and we can't thank them enough - meant we still got to go to our friends' wedding! Skye was really communicative, asked thoughtful questions and gave regular updates. Herbie has come home happy and relaxed - would thoroughly recommend and will definitely be booking them again if they're free 😊

My usually nervous girl was quickly very relaxed around Skye and her partner after their first meeting. She was happy to leave with them for her first sleepover and came home happy and chilled. They created a home from home environment for her and kept good communication during her stay. They were very reliable and on time with drop off and pick ups. They are a lovely, friendly couple who clearly love dogs and enjoy looking after them. I will definitely book them again in the future. Thank you ☺️
Skye and Finn took great care of my nervous Pomeranian. They provided a home from home experience for her. After a meet and great she was happy to leave with them for her first sleepover. She is normally quite scared of new people, especially men but took to them very quickly, giving them kisses and cuddles. She came home relaxed after her stay with them. They updated me and communicated well during her stay. I will be booking Skye and Finn again soon, they are friendly, accommodating and reliable dog sitters. It’s lovely to see how much they enjoy it too! Thanks guys!

Schedule
I currently work full time, however I have shift patterns so between me and my partner someone is usually at home. Please include details of whether your dog can be left alone/how long for as, although it rarely happens, there can be a few hours where we are both at work at the same time.

I live in a secure flat with a fenced paved garden. I live a 10 minute walk away from the park and I am able to drive dogs to remote areas for walks .
A typical day
I live a 10 minute walk away from roath park and I also drive so can take your dog on longer walks such as to forest Fawr, Garth hill and cosmeston lakes or even to the beach. There will be lots of play time.

- If your dog has any special needs or medications that I will need to account for. I will need reassurance of what your dog is like with other dogs when out walking and whether they can be let off the lead. Please also tell me how often your dog requires walking and their sleeping arrangements. For boarding, I prefer a meet and greet prior if possible.
