Your fur baby will be loved 💖

I follow positive reinforcement training. I grew up with having German shepherd, Maltese, Yorkie, poodles, shitzus and now a corgi. I believe in an open roaming environment and generally take dogs out every 4-6 hours for walks. If you are puppy training I can follow crate training as well. Please bring an item of yourself for your pup to have to transition boarding time so they have a scent of you. Let me know if there's any special feeding instructions. Or any quirks about your dog (i.e my dog is an introvert)

First time with Skye. She kept us up to date with photos. Unfortunately our dog got sick during her stay but Skye was took good care of her and even made chicken and rice for her. Thank you!

Skye is fantastic with Sasha. Sends pictures and updates throughout the day and most importantly, Sasha is always happy to see Skye and excited to stay with her.

Skye did a great job making my dog with a little anxiety and some attachment issue feel comfortable. She sent me pictures and updates throughout the day and when I went to pick up my dog, I could tell she was comfortable with Skye which usually takes her a bit of time. I will definitely leave Sasha with Skye again.

Skye is amazing. She took great care of my very energetic 4-month-old puppy for three days in a row, gave me regular updates and great advice. I would absolutely recommend her.

Skye was so great with our senior dog. She gave us great updates and provided a lot of love and care. She gave us peace of mind during our weekend away. We will rebook in the future.

Skye was so wonderful with our little boy, Bing and even gave us tips to help his anxiety and to avoid pulling on his leash.

Schedule

I work from home and I'm available to watch your dog all day and take them out on walks. I believe in a long morning walk so the dog can rest during the day and a short walk to relieve themselves midday. At night will be another long walk before bedtime.

Safety, trust & environment

In the morning I take my dog and yours out for a short hour long hike (weather permitting). I have lots of toys and if you have any special requests for food, pill medications or routines I'll like to follow them as closely as possible. My own dog tends to eat too fast and gets hungry so I freeze dehydrated food for her with blueberries inside the kongs. I will send daily photos and updates of what we've done together. I also can trim nails with a Dremel grinder. Please provide a harness so I can clip them when we go for hiking walks. If it's too cold or hot, I will shorten the hour to 30 minutes. If it's frosty/sweltering outside I generally do 10 minute short relieve walks and puzzles + playtime inside.

Pets

A typical day

Dogs tend to be out in nature and enjoy it and I'll like to take them on morning hike walks &/ late night ones weather permitting. Closest trail I'll take them is Hartsdale which is a relatively flat 1.25 mile walk. Special occasions, usually on weekends or if I'm done with work early I'll head to Gedney Park and spend 2-3 hours there since I can off leash my dog and use a retractable one for yours. Indoors I'll have lots of toys I wash weekly and puzzles.

Any quirks, dislikes, things I should watch out for (i.e my dog gets triggered by squirrels on walks and dislikes huskies).
