I love all animals! I grew up with cats and have yet to find a cat who won't be my friend. I also have over 14 years experience pet sitting and volunteering with dogs in shelters, so I have worked with dogs of all sizes, health and behavior needs. I have stayed in homes with dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, parrots, hamsters and goats. Animals tend to warm up to me and trust me immediately, so I'm a great choice for your shy or defensive darlings. While volunteering with the Oregon Humane Society, I was trained to help the especially difficult dogs learn better leash manners and basic tricks to make them more adoptable. I keep myself up to date on pet first aid and I have experience with providing supplements and meds (oral, topical and injectable). My biggest priority is helping your pets feel comfortable and loved while you're away and will send frequent updates and pics so you know all is well. I teach math online for Buncombe County Schools, so not only am I available throughout the day to spend time with your animals but you know I am someone you can trust with your pet family and home. I only have a couple of times a day where I have to be on Zoom calls and otherwise have the flexibility to make sure your animal family's needs are being met.
