I plan my week carefully around university, so I can reliably commit to scheduled walks or visits. Evenings and weekends are especially flexible for me, and I genuinely enjoy building dog walks into my routine as a healthy break from studying.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets, I prioritise safety, routine and calm energy. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions regarding walking routes, boundaries and any specific needs. I ensure dogs are kept secure on walks, avoid unsafe situations, and always provide supervision, affection and reassurance. Having cared for my own dog for 12 years, I understand how important trust and consistency are for both pets and owners.
Information Skye F. would like to know about your pet
Before walking your dog, I’d love to understand their temperament, lead behaviour and any specific needs. Please let me know if they have any reactivity towards other dogs, cyclists or busy roads, as well as how reliable their recall is. It’s also helpful to know about any health concerns or mobility issues so I can adjust the walk appropriately. I have my own senior dog at home, so I understand how important patience, gentleness and respecting comfort levels can be, especially for older or more sensitive dogs.
A typical day
A typical visit or walk will be tailored to your dog’s age, energy level and personality. For active dogs, I’m happy to go on longer walks, explore local parks and allow plenty of time for sniffing and enrichment. For calmer or older dogs, I prioritise steady, relaxed walks and gentle engagement. I also enjoy incorporating simple mental stimulation like basic training reinforcement, interactive play and plenty of positive attention to keep them happy and settled.

Pet care experience
Hi! I’m a dental student who absolutely loves dogs and has grown up with my own family dog (now 12 years old and very well cared for!). I really miss having him around while I’m at university, so I’d love to spend time caring for and walking other dogs. I’m responsible, patient and attentive, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. Having looked after my own dog for over a decade, I’m confident with feeding routines, administering basic care, and giving lots of affection while keeping boundaries and safety in mind. Whether your dog needs a calm walk, some company during the day, or just extra attention, I’ll treat them as if they were my own 🤍🐾
