Growing up in Portland, my family always had at least one dog around the house at all times, and usually more than one! We adopted from the Oregon Humane Society, and often our dogs needed a little extra patience and care because of past traumas and anxiety. I am especially comfortable with medium/large dogs, and I have a background in handling leash anxiety and “escape artists.” After nearly two years as a caretaker on Rover, I am more than happy to maintain and reinforce any leash or behavioral training your dog is currently working on.

Sky is absolutely AMAZING. She has house sat for us and taken care of our cat, dog and even our son's pet mice several times, including once for two weeks when we were out of of the country. The first time she took care of our pets, we hadn't had our dog for very long and he was very timid and shy and Sky won him over immediately with her gentle approach, patience and encouragement. In fact, when she came over to meet him the first time, I zipped out the front door and ran down the block to a busy street. He hadn't yet learned "come" for recall and I was terrified he'd be hit by a car, but as we went to try to get him, she was calm and strategic about her approach to him and it totally worked. She is amazing with communication, warm, professional, responsible and absolutely unflappable. When our cat had a possible stomach issue while we were gone, she let me know right away and offered to take our cat to the vet if needed. If Sky is taking care of our pets, I know they are in great hands and I don't have to worry. I can't recommend her highly enough.
Sky did a great job taking care of our cats. She was able to adapt to changing circumstances and handled everything like a true professional. She was very communicsative with us and friendly with our cats.
Sky watched our dog while we went out of town for the weekend. She did a great job and took care of the house as well. Thank you, Sky!

Schedule
I currently work part time in the afternoons, but my schedule leaves a lot of free time for drop-in pet visits and walks anytime before 11AM or after 5:30PM weekdays! I am experienced house/dog-sitter, and I am always happy to curl up with your pets on the couch in my free time. Reach out to me, and I’m sure we can make something work!
