We give our dog plenty of love, food, water, treats, exercise and potty breaks. Our yard is not fenced so we use a leash for outdoor time.
Information John "Santa Skip" M. would like to know about your pet
General health condition, any restrictions on food and activity, socialization with other dogs, behavioral issues. My breed preference is terriers although I like all dogs. I refer to most terriers as the "advance models" as I do not consider them a dog for beginning pet owners.
A typical day
Playing fetch and tug with toys is an activity that my dogs really enjoy. Taking walks in the neighborhood is also a fun activity. If the owner approves I will take the dogs to the local "dog park". I will also reinforce basic training commands such as sit, stay, come, heal, lie down. I use treats for training rewards.

Pet care experience
I have been blessed with having dogs, cats, and other cool critters in my family for most of my life. Our pack currently includes Coral, a 14 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, that even though she is slowing down thinks she is a puppy. Now that I have entered the retirement season of my life, I feel called to be available to care for your canine and feline family member. I will pet them, brush them, and find that special spot that they love to have scratched. I do have some experience with training dogs and enjoy reinforcing training through play and treats. I also enjoy taking Coral to the local dog parks so she can get off the leash and socialize with other dogs. I can bring your dog to the dog park if you wish.

Reviews

Skipper did an excellent job. I am so thankful he came and took such good care of my cats. The automatic feeder has a gel pack to keep out moisture broke and dispersed into the food. It was the perfect example of why even with an automatic feeder it is important to have someone check on the animals. Skipper provided excellent communication and updates.
Skipper loves my dogs. He took time walking them, feeding them and even sending me summary with photos. I glad to have him help us. If you want to find a person who truely loves dogs and go above and beyond, Skipper is the one.

Skipper was very responsive and made sure to send us pictures throughout the day. We really appreciate how proactive he was and liked that we didn't have to be the ones reaching out for updates!
My experience with Skip was really great. He is a true dog lover. I was very comfortable leaving my two dogs with Skip. Great clean home environment. A true caring person! I am looking forward to booking a visit again
