Animals are the biggest source of joy in my life. I have been caring for animals since I was a child, beginning with large animals on my family's ranch. As soon as I entered high school I began volunteering at local clinics and shelters. I have been a professional in the veterinary medicine industry since I was 17. I have been a veterinary technician for years and have an all encompassing experience history, including cats, dogs of all sizes, small animals (rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc), reptiles, cattle, horses, seniors, babies, and special needs pets. Animals have always been and will always will be one of my greatest loves and passions in life. I would love to get to know yours and provide them with exceptional love and care when you need it.

Having SJ take care of our high anxiety dog made traveling far less stressful. I appreciate the communication and pictures while we were gone.
SJ house sat and cared for our dog, Wally. She was fantastic, very communicative and attentive to Wally. She sent frequent updates and photos to keep us updated on how he was doing. We highly recommend SJ!
SJ did a wonderful job house sitting with our 2 large dogs. They love her lots as she went outside with them and made sure they got plenty of belly rubs and loving. The house was clean when she left. She also sent lots of pictures the week we were gone.
SJ did a very nice job with my two dogs. I got so many photos and video updates during my time away. I really appreciated her daily communication, and she tidied up the house for me at the end of our booking!
SJ did a great job of keeping me updated about my babies. I got lots of pictures and she let me know if the babies ate or not. I will book her again without hesitation. My husband and I have put off vacations because of our dogs and their quirky dispositions but SJ was wonderful!
SJ did an amazing job with my pups and maintained my home while watching them which I greatly appreciate. Will be using her again.

Schedule
My pricing as listed in my profile is based on my extensive professional experience as well as the fact that I am able to provide constant care if requested and can usually cater to any schedule. Your pets health and happiness are my biggest concern and I will do everything I can to make sure they are cared for to the fullest extent. That being said, I am always willing to try to work with my clients based on their needs and resources, so don’t hesitate to reach out!

I am skilled and experienced with any and all pet needs. I am trained in fear-free training techniques and industry standard safety protocols. I can work with crate training animals, keeping pets and their routines separate if need be, and I am fully capable of handling most medical needs your pet may have.

A typical day
It is important for all animals to get attention, love, stimulation, and care. All of their physical needs should always be met as well as their mental needs! Some pets, especially puppies and high energy dogs, need to get all of that energy out! Plenty of toys, long walks, play time, and sensory exposure can help relax pets and make sure they don’t resort to chewing/tearing things up around the house to keep themselves occupied. This can also help reduce their stress levels while owners are away. Some pets want to keep to themselves and enjoy their relaxation, and that’s okay too! I always enjoy some Netflix binges and nap sessions when that’s what my furry clientele prefer! Some pets want lots of cuddles, treats, and all the affection, and that’s exactly what they will get.

- I am no stranger to special needs pets, so tell me all about your four legged friend! Are they nervous or anxious about meeting new people? Is it hard on them when you’re away? Do they require any medications, physical therapy, or special diets? Do they love cuddles or prefer to keep to themselves? Any and all information on their preferences, schedules, needs, and requirements will help me give your pet the best possible care. It will also help me to know about your expectations for me as your sitter ahead of time, as all client needs differ and it’s best to have all the information I need before a booking begins.
