I am currently only employed as a dog walker/sitter. I have plenty of time for your pup during the day, and overnight, Monday through Sunday.

If a dog I'm caring for spends the night (or I stay over at their place) I sleep on the same floor level with them (not in the same bed, however!). Of course, I make sure there is a water dish on the kitchen floor at all times, and food at feeding times. We'll play, walk, play some more, have deep conversations, and walk some more. . . If grooming is requested, I'm happy to do that. If the dog has special needs, or old and frail, I'm also happy to attend to whatever needs they have.

Please let me know if your dog is comfortable, or not, with other dogs. My last dog only liked small dogs, especially Corgis. She would play for hours with them, if she could. If your dog prefers alone time and not other dogs, that's fine too.
A typical day
There are so many places to walk/hike in my area! If your dog likes variety, they will find it every time we meet. Or, we can walk in the same place each time -- whatever their preference. If your dog likes toys, I have em'! Chasing balls, wrestling, cuddling, sleeping; it's all good. I also give a great dog massage.

I was not a "dog person" until I met a Border Collie named Bingo in 1993. She continued to teach me throughout her life. And I learned how to care for her through her death at age 17. Five months after Bingo died, we found a forlorn 10 month old Aussie on the road in NV. She was fearful of everything and didn't respond to words or play, at first. Within a few months Brava became cuddly and playful! She trained easily without treats, and for the next 14 years she worked alongside me doing clean-outs and snowplowing. Brava allowed me to bath and brush her, clip her nails and brush her teeth. And, her vocabulary grew beyond belief. I have cared for and walked with neighbor's and friend's dogs for for many years.

I have known Sita for nearly 20 years and I cannot think of a better more loving dog sitter let alone friend. She is very in tune with her animal friends, very loving, careful and sensitive to their different needs. If I were a dog or any animal for that matter, she would be my pick for a sitter!! Paws down! You won’t find anyone better!!!
Sita is a kind, empathetic person, clear thinking, unflappable and reliable. We have known each other for 15+ years and we have known each other's dogs! Sita has a very intuitive sense of dogs and those dogs that make a connection with Sita are very lucky. So are their families. We adopted a dog almost a year ago from the local rescue. She had a difficult time in her former family, and was not very happy at the shelter. The adoption was fast but we had plans to be away in 2 weeks time for a weekend. Sita to the rescue! She offered to take Dottie for that planned weekend. We visited back and forth during the in-between time so Dottie would be comfortable. That weekend, off we went knowing that Dottie was not only safe, but well cared for and would have great fun and new adventures. I trust Sita explicitly. When Sita visits for a walk now Dottie is always wildly happy to see her. So am I! Sita is the best.
Sita has several qualities that make her excellent in relating to and working with dogs. She can usually read what a dog is trying to communicate and respond appropriately. We’ve all seen people rush up to a dog and start petting and hugging, but Sita pays attention to what the dog really wants before interacting. Another important quality is that Sita helps dogs relax by communicating that she is a caring leader that a dog can depend upon. It helps that Sita is a tall and strong person so that she is able to physically handle walking dogs of different sizes. Lastly, from having her own successful businesses over the years, Sita has excellent communication skills and is highly responsible.
