I've grown up with dogs and currently have a two dogs and a cat of my own in Shelton, CT. We have a six year old German Shepherd mix and a young American Eskimo puppy. Our cat loves dogs and is 3 years old. We are not taking dogs over 55lb. I work from home everyday and would love to treat your pet as one of our own! You can either drop off your pet with me or I can come pick him/her up at a place that's convenient for you! I work full time from home, so I will be around to play with your doggo all day. I have a fenced yard as well. Please let us know if your dog has separation anxiety or any other behavioral issues (chewing, biting, etc.). We do request that all dogs are able to sleep on their own and through the night. Meaning, we cannot allow dogs to sleep with us in our bedroom or our bed as we have two dogs of our own. For everyone's safety, we will separate your dog from ours at night. Therefore, despite being with us all day, your dog will have to either be crate trained such that they can sleep in a crate inside our room, or sleep in a separate bedroom by themselves at night. Approximately 8 hours by himself at night. 2. Dogs must not have any on going health issues and must be vaccinated against rabies, bordatella, and distemper. They must also be on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. 3. Separation anxiety - while we are home almost the majority of the time, there are instances where we will have to leave for at most 3 hours in a day. Therefore, if your dog has separation anxiety, please let me know in advance before booking. 4. Socialization - Please let us know how your dog handles being around other dogs. While we can take dogs that aren't yet socialized with other dogs, we will need to keep them in a separate bedroom to themselves to ensure everyone's safety. 5. ZERO POLICY FOR AGGRESSION - If your dog shows any form of aggression towards us, our pups, or another boarder, you will need to arrange pick up for your dog within 24 hours of notice. 6. You must provide an emergency contact in case of emergencies while you are away. ADDITIONAL FEES: 1. If your pet has separation anxiety and requires me to be with him/her 100% of their stay, we, there will be an additional charge. 2. Normal day care hours are for a 10 hour period during the working day between 6 am to 6 pm. Any extended period beyond that is subject to $5 per hour or our boarding rate, whichever is less. 3. Due to the excitability of all the boarders/daycare clients, all drop offs and pickups must be within 15 minutes of the scheduled time. Any other time must be agreed upon. There will be a $10 fee or late drop offs and pickups, and 3 late pickups will amount to dismissal. 4. Senior dogs with incontinence will be charged our puppy rate. 5. Early daycare drop offs are subject to a $10 fee (that is any drop off prior to 6:00am)
