I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to care for pets throughout the week. I’m happy to plan my weekends around your pet’s routine and needs, making sure they’re well looked after, comfortable, and content for the duration of their stay. Rudy works from home 2 days a week too.

Information Sinead B. would like to know about your pet

We will need to have a good understanding of: - Their daily routine - Any health issues - Which commands they know, and how good their recall is - Situations that make them uncomfortable

A typical day

We will take the time to understand your pets daily routine and exercise schedule, and tailor activities accordingly. For active dogs, we have big parks near our house where they can stretch their legs and play - but if a long sniffy walk is their preference, we know plenty of routes we can take too. For mental enrichment / breed specific fulfilment we can use licky mats, scent games, a flirt pole and or a bite pillow - we’ve even used a herding ball before! It’s really important that safety comes first, so we will always ensure all toys are size appropriate and don’t present a choking hazard.

Former Dog Mums Missing Daily Walks – Here to Help

Pet care experience

I currently care for animals alongside my partner, Rudy, and we have extensive experience with both cats and dogs. I grew up in a family home with several much-loved pets, giving me a strong understanding of feline and canine behaviour and the care animals need at different life stages. Rudy also grew up around both cats and dogs, including working breeds. After moving out of our respective family homes, we welcomed a dog of our own. Reggie was an extremely energetic puppy whose complex needs continued into young adulthood. Sadly, he was put to sleep shortly before his second birthday. Caring for Reggie taught us a great deal about responsible dog ownership and training. Through him, we learned the importance of clear boundaries, reading canine body language, building breed-appropriate routines, and advocating for a dog’s needs to help them feel safe and confident. He required a structured routine and a high level of care, but he was a wonderful companion and deeply loved. We miss him every day. Now that we are no longer pet owners ourselves, we enjoy caring for other people’s animals, whether big or small. Looking after pets brings us genuine joy, and we are always happy to help where we can.

Sinead looked after Snoop for a settling in day before he comes to them for boarding and it was a lovely experience. We've never left him with people for the day before but he settled quickly with her. She kept me up to date with how he was doing and when I came to collect him I could see he was totally relaxed and happy to be there. Thank you guys!
