I have recently moved from the Netherlands to California and am busy job hunting, so I have plenty of time to give lots of love and attention to pets. I absolutely love being around all sorts of animals, and I live close to Lake Elizabeth so I will spend lots of time outdoors with dogs if they enjoy that.

A typical day
Looking after pets brings me so much joy, so rest assured, your pet will have so much fun and will be the center of my attention while in my care. Every pet's energy levels are different, so I like to figure out their personality and then do activities based on what they enjoy. I love to take dogs for long walks in the park and play some ball to get some play time in, or if they are more relaxed, I will take it more chilled and give them tons of pets and attention. I enjoy playing with cats with their favourite toys and giving them as many cuddles as they will allow. If they want to curl up and take a nap while I read a book or play endlessly with a string, I'm happy to oblige them with whatever makes them happy. I love to take photos of the fun activities we do to update you so that you know that your pet is in good hands and is having a great time.

Hi, I’m Simonette. I have owned all sorts of pets (cockatoos, budgies, fish, bunnies) and have always loved the company of cats and dogs. Since I was little I have really enjoyed caring for pets and looking after our friends and family's pets when they go on holiday. I used to work remotely in the Netherlands and also wanted to spend time with animals, so I started pet sitting. I have now moved to California and am missing the pets that I often looked after, so I am looking very forward to pet sitting again. Ensuring that your pet gets enough cuddles and love is my priority. Their food and water will, of course, be refreshed and walks done (if needed). Simonette was a wonderful and respectful catsitter! We received a lot of nice pictures everyday and felt very relaxed going away knowing she was taking care of our cats. Even our shy cat was happy receiving lots of cuddles. Definitely can recommend Simonette as a petsitter!
Simonette is an angel and cat whisperer! I have three relatively high-maintenance cats and she was very receptive of special care needs. One of them had an illness flare-up shortly before I left, which added some extra work on last-minute, but she handled it like a champ and everyone was cared for perfectly, and they all loved her! Door Simonette haar enthousiasme en zorgzaamheid kon ik met een heel ontspannen gevoel op vakantie. Cleo is de hele week in de watten gelegd. We hadden veel contact en ze komt alle afspraken na. Absoluut een fijne catsitter!
