Staying in my home: -Secure entry to my flat via stairs or lift. -There is a communal grass courtyard for quick toilet breaks -Leith Links (a very big park) is 2 minutes from my flat for walks in a big open green space. -My flat is kept very clean and I clean after every pet's stay. -I keep track of your pet's feeding routine -I pay close attention to pets behaviours (especially during first time stays/walks) -I always recommend owners to bring along a familiar smell (toy or blanket/bed) to help keep them calm. -I leave on calming pet music on the TV (and a treat, if allowed) when leaving the home for quick errands eg. going to the get groceries. When staying in your home: -I will make notes on all feeding requirements, preferred toys and any medications for your pets, all ahead of time. -Take them on their usual walk route if the owner can provide location. -I keep owners homes tidy and clean for their return. *Whether staying in my home or yours, I provide frequent updates to owners.

Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs of all sizes and breeds, loving them as my best friends, and I also have the softest of spots for cats too. I am the "petsitter" for my friends and family and had started dog & cat boarding during 2020, which I found the incredibly enjoyable and gratifying. Many of my fluffy "clients" have been returning to me over the past 5 years and I have found it very rewarding that my "non-fluffy clients" (owners) have trusted me to care for and build bonds with their pets. I have experience with: Small dogs Medium dogs Larger dogs Cats Related experience: Administering Epilepsy medication & other medications A pregnant dog Specialised diet eg. Raw food only, cooked foods Nervous dogs Dogs that are not friendly with other dogs Elderly dogs (poor eyesight, slow-walking) Post-operative care

Reviews

Simone made sure Hugo felt comfortable around her and her flat by offering a free intro session. She sent regular updates when he stayed with her and we were happy with communications.

Hamish definitely enjoyed staying with Simone and her partner. She kept me updated throughout with updates and pictures and was very accommodating of Hamish's new needs regarding his old man nappies :) Will definitely book again in future 🐶

She had lovely energy, so my dog loved her. She looked after Charlie really well, he was so happy from the start when he met Simone. She is definitely someone I can recommend. 5⭐️ From me and Charlie. Thank you one more time.
Simone was fantastic with our cats; I would recommend her hands down. She was accomodating and understanding before, while caring for them, and afterwards. I won't be going to anyone else!
