Animals have been part of my life since I was ten, and cats especially are my specialty — I've raised them from kittenhood through their senior years, including hands-on experience with age-related health needs and end-of-life care. That depth of experience means I recognize subtle changes in behavior or health long before they become emergencies, and I'm comfortable coordinating vet visits when something comes up. What really sets me apart is how seriously I take the "sitting" part of house sitting. I don't just check boxes — I send regular photos and updates, keep the home exactly as I found it (dishes done, plants watered, trash handled), and treat every pet like my own. Past clients have described coming home to a spotless house and visibly happy, relaxed animals. For me, this isn't a side gig — it's a genuine extension of how I already care for the world around me.

I keep pets on their regular schedule—feeding, medications, and walks or playtime as needed—while making sure they get plenty of affection and interaction. I send pet parents regular updates so they can relax while away, and I keep the space tidy so animals stay in a calm, comfortable environment.

Simone is one of the best people I know! We are friends from college for over a decade. She’s so friendly and caring and loves all animals, even stranger’s pets. Whenever I’m out and about with her, any time we come across a dog, she must stop and pet it. Another example of this was when she recently found a pit-bull mix near her apartment and took the dog in until she could locate the owner. When she realized the owner was having trouble caring for the dog, she attempted to help re-home the animal. Simone has helped care for our cats with such love and compassion. When we were displaced from our house due to environmental contamination, she took in our cats without compensation and cared for them like they were their own. She sent videos and pictures and texted us updates. She never complained or batted an eye when one of the cats got sick from a cancerous mass growing in her belly requiring emergency vet care. She took her to the vet and helped arrange end-of-life care for her. During an already stressful time, we felt so much relief because of Simone’s love for our girls. We are forever indebted to her and would recommend her to anyone looking for trusted, caring and responsible person to look after their pets and house.
I’ve known Simone for years now and I always trust her to watch my two boys while I’m away ❤️ She’s always super attentive and makes sure to give them extra lovins for me 🥰 It truly gives me a piece of mind that my floofnoodles are being cared for by someone who may be a little bit more obsessed with them than I am 😆❤️ Simone is the best 10/10 recommend ~
I highly recommend Simone for any petsitting needs. My dog Panda is a senior and has several health conditions (arthritis and unilateral trigeminal neuropathy are the main ones) and needs an injection of adequan once per month. When I found out that Simone has experience giving injections to her own pet, I was relieved to know that she could help. When Panda developed trigeminal neuropathy, his eye started needing frequent cleaning and eye drops. I was concerned that this would be asking a lot, but again Simone was not deterred. She is a true animal lover, patient, compassionate, reliable and communicative. In short, she's a gem!

Schedule
I work full-time, so drop-in visits fit best on Friday afternoons and weekends. For housesitting assignments, I'm available to stay overnight, giving pets consistent companionship around my workday for the full duration of the sit.
