Availability
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. During the week, I'm available for drop-ins in the morning, around lunchtime, and again in the evenings after 5:30pm. I'm also available for overnight stays on weeknights, so your pup is never alone for long. Weekends are wide open! I'm fully available for drop-ins, extended visits, or overnight care. Whether you need a quick check in or someone to be there through the night, I've got it covered.

Safety, trust & environment
When I'm caring for your pet, I do it in the environment they know best, their own home! Familiar surroundings make a real difference, especially for senior dogs, anxious pets, or those recovering from a procedure. I follow your routines closely: feeding schedules, medication times, walking routes, rest habits. Nothing gets skipped and nothing gets improvised without a reason. For drop-ins and walks, I arrive on time, stay for the full visit, and always send an update so you know exactly how things went. For overnight and extended stays, I treat your home with the same respect and care I'd want someone to show mine. Your pet's comfort, safety, and routine stay intact from the moment you leave to the moment you're back. And if something unexpected comes up, you're in good hands. My background in medicine means I'm trained to stay calm under pressure, assess a situation quickly, and act decisively. I know the signs that something is off before it becomes urgent, and I know how to respond. You'll hear from me immediately, with clear information and a plan.

Doctor turned Dogtor! :)
Pet care experience
Hi there! I'm Simone, a physician and lifelong dog person who brings the same calm, attentive care to your pup that I bring to my patients. I grew up with Boxers for over 20 years so big personalities, lots of love, and some stubbornness are basically home to me. These days I share my home with two very opinionated dogs of my own: Niko, a French Bulldog who will do anything for a cuddle, and Kato, a 13 year old Boston Terrier who is deaf, visually impaired, and absolutely perfect. Between the two of them, I've become fluent in senior dog care, neurological quirks, behavior management, and the art of medicating a dog who has strong opinions about it. As a doctor, I'm trained to read subtle changes quickly; the kind that most people might miss. That skill translates directly to pet care too! Whether your dog needs post-op monitoring, daily medications, mobility support, senior or puppy care, high energy play, or just a calm and attentive presence, I know how to spot when something's off and act on it. Your pet will never just be "watched." They'll be genuinely cared for! My medical background means I stay composed in unexpected situations, know when something needs attention, and communicate clearly with owners every step of the way. You'll always know how your pup is doing, because at the end of the day, caring for someone's family member is something I take seriously. Whether they have two legs or four! :)
Reviews
I don’t trust just anybody with my dogs, so when I say my sister is my go-to, that means a lot. We grew up with Boxers and had them in the house since we were five years old, so she’s been around dogs basically her entire life. It’s just how we were raised. She’s watched my two Boxers for me multiple times and they’ve always been well taken care of. Not to mention she was doing that while keeping her own two dogs at the same time, so four dogs total, with my two toddlers running around on top of that. And she had everything under control every single time like it was nothing. The dogs AND kids were happy, everybody fed, on schedule. No issues. She’s just naturally good with animals. She pays attention, she’s patient, she actually cares, and gives them attention. You can tell the difference between someone who’s just going through the motions and someone who genuinely loves dogs. My dogs also warmed up to her easily, which honestly says more than anything I could write here. If you’re looking for someone who knows dogs and will take good care of yours, she’s the one!
Simone has watched our (2) dogs on countless occasions and we are so glad that she finally opened a Rover account. She is communicative, responsible, attentive, timely, and takes such great care of them, even giving them their daily medicine. I am able to travel for work, go on vacation, etc knowing that our pups are well cared for. She has been an invaluable help to us. Book Simone ASAP, you will not be disappointed.
