I enjoy spending a lot of quality time with the dogs I sit for, and I don't accept bookings if I am overcommitted. I like to leave any spaces I use playing with the dog or putting together meals as clean as I found them. It's really important to me to respect the space I am staying in, which includes respecting any boundaries that are set while organizing the stay.

I accept any and every breed of dog! I would like to discuss details of house sitting on a case by case basis because every animal has their own individual needs that can't be covered by a "one fits all" questionnaire.
A typical day
The activities your dog loves to do are also my favorite things to do when we get together. Every pup has a different personality, whether they love 2 mile hikes, wrestling with their favorite toy, cuddling on the couch, or keeping their distance and napping in the sun. I like to get to know what your dog loves to do so that they are as comfortable and happy as possible while you are gone.

I will undoubtedly love your pet(s) as if they were my own. I grew up with two dogs and a variety of small animals, I have worked in multiple animal shelters, and I have bathed dogs professionally, so I have a lot of hands-on and behavioral experience with animals of all backgrounds. All of this experience has led to a passion for animal care and research that I am happy to talk about at length :) I am a recent animal science graduate from Cornell with a pretty flexible schedule, and I can work with most last-minute requests. I have access to a car in case of emergency or any kind of situation in which transportation is necessary. I raised my own dog for 17 years, so I also have a lot of experience loving and supporting senior animals. As a trained pet bather I am also willing to bathe your pet during check-ins for a small additional charge. I can't wait to meet your animal and spend some quality time with them! I will give your animals the individual attention that they deserve. I am fully vaccinated and boosted and have recently opened my schedule to new clients.

Simone was AMAZING with taking care of all four of our pets while we were across the country. She stayed in our home, sent lots of pictures every day, and kept us updated about any issues that came up with our dogs and cats.
