I have always had dogs growing up. I could play with dogs for hours, it brings me so much joy. I often care for my brother's dog who is a pit mix. He has some behavioral issues but I have found that plenty of excercise helps. I am willing to go the extra mile for animals that need extra attention/have a lot of energy. I am also experienced in administering medication to dogs because of him. In addition, I helped care for my family dog in her final years. Because of her, I have some experience in helping senior dogs and understand the patience required to care for them.

I prefer to care for pets in a client’s home. I am happy to take pets in my car if needed to go to parks. I enjoy taking my dog to off leash parks. If your dog is trained in going to such parks, I am happy to take them in my own vehicle! For those interested in booking a house sitter, I am a firm believer in leaving a space cleaner than it was when I first see it which is a bonus.
Ratings and reviews
Simone takes great care in making sure our pup Tango's needs (mostly play) are met while she visits. She is very attentive to instructions and sent detailed notes from each visit. I'm certain that Tango enjoyed his time with Simone as well, as we always came home to a happy pup :)
Simone was an amazing pet & house sitter! She was very responsive to messages during her time sitting and sent lots of pictures. She absolutely spoiled our pets - taking our pup out for a pup cup and introducing "Cat TV" to our kitties. The pets were clearly happy when we got home. Additionally, Simone took great care of the house. I think it was cleaner when we got home than when we left and it was great to see that she settled in and enjoyed the things we also love about the house! She even washed the bedding and towels that she had used and folded them neatly before we got home. 100% will rebook.
Simone and Tango had a great time during her drop-ins this week! Everything was taken care of as requested and we came home to a happy puppy each day. Would book with her again!
Where do I begin with Simone!! She is AWESOME! She is very flexible as I had to change our meeting from the night before me leaving to the morning OF! I was in the middle of planning / going to my mother's funeral out of town and moving that first appointment took A LOT of stress off me!! Then with Oskar -- Oskar hid when we had the first meet/greet - He has never been away from me ONE night since I got him over two years ago - but while I was gone and Simone sent me the first pictures of Oskar - I knew I could relax and know that my little everything was in GREAT hands and I did not have to worry one bit!! I thank you so much Simone!! I will be calling on you around Thanksgiving if you are available!
Simone did a great job taking care of our cat, home, and garden while we were out of town. She was newer to Rover (but not to pet sitting) and quickly figured out how to do the Rover cards when I asked for them. She obviously loves animals and our cat loved her.

Schedule
Most afternoons will be available during the week. This summer will be pretty busy over the weekends. I work from home and would be willing to walk over for more visits if you live by me. close to downtown Alexandria!
