Since I don’t have pets of my own due to living in a second-floor flat, pet-sitting fills that gap and brings joy to my routine. House Sitting: I stay overnight in your home, maintaining your pet’s routine with walks, feeding, and attention, keeping your home secure and sharing updates.
A typical day
For Dogs: Long Walks & Adventures: I take dogs on exciting walks to Richmond Park or other local green spaces, letting them sniff, explore, and burn energy. For high-energy pups, I can drive to new trails for variety. Playtime: Fetch, tug-of-war, or chasing toys in a safe area gets their tails wagging. I bring along toys or use their favourites. Social Fun: If the dog is social and the owner approves, I arrange playdates with other friendly dogs during walks for extra fun. For Cats: Interactive Play: I engage cats with feather wands, laser pointers, or balls to spark their hunting instincts. I mix it up to keep them entertained. Cozy Bonding: To make cuddly cats feel loved, I offer lap time or gentle petting sessions. Exploration: I set up safe, stimulating environments with boxes or paper bags (if allowed) for curious kitties to investigate. For All Pets: Mental Stimulation: I use puzzle toys or simple training games (like “sit” or “find the treat”) to keep their minds sharp. Personalised Fun: I get to know each pet’s quirks and preferences, tailoring activities to their unique character, whether it’s a high-energy romp or quiet play. Photo Updates: I share photos or videos of their fun moments so owners can see their pet thriving.
