Hi, I'm Simon! Originally from Ireland, now settled here with a very loud cat. I've been around animals my whole life and love to make friends with animals. I grew up with a golden retriever who was basically my shadow, so I learned early how much dogs thrive on routine, exercise, and a bit of affection. Living with Casper who was very cold has taught me patience and how to read an animal's mood — when they want to play, when they'd rather be left alone, and how to earn trust slowly. That carries over well to nervous or particular pets of all kinds.

In a client's home, I will try and follow your routine — feeding, medication, play, and litter or walks as your pet is used to, because familiarity is what keeps them calm while you're away. Throughout, I send regular photo and video updates so you can see your pet is happy and relaxed, and I'll flag anything that seems off straight away. My aim is simple: your pet stays safe, comfortable, and in their normal routine, and you get to properly relax knowing they're in good hands.

I've watched Simon win over the toughest customer there is — my cat Casper, a grumpy old boy who didn't take to anyone. Simon was patient with him, never forced it, and let Casper come to him on his own terms. Now they're inseparable (I'm a little jealous, honestly Casper was never a lap cat to me but he is to Simon now!!). He's reliable, genuinely attentive, and treats animals like family.
