Loving Dog Care - Walks & Visits
Hi, I’m Simon - I'm here to provide a Reliable, Safe & Fun dog walking & pet care experience across Ellesmere Port & The Wirral. I’ve been around dogs & cats my whole life, growing up with a mixture of breeds, learning their temperaments & getting to know their individual quirks through caring for them & loving them has been one of the great joys of my life so far! I have now chosen to dedicate myself to giving as many of them safe, structured, & enriching experiences whilst their owners are at work, travelling, or just need a helping hand. My approach means that each & every pet Is treated as though they were my own & with the patience, compassion & positive reinforcement they deserve, I form lasting bonds that mean you can be confident in leaving them in my care, when you need to. What I offer: Solo OR Group dog walks (your choice), tailored to your dog’s temperament, energy levels, age and health needs. Drop‑in visits for feeding, toilet breaks, company, fuss, playtime & medication. Puppy, Senior‑Friendly & Specialist care, including gentle socialisation & a calming approach for nervous or anxious dogs (I have one myself!) Walks & adventures in pre-approved & checked locations with photo/video updates for owners, so you always know your dog is safe and happy! Safety first: I am fully insured to look after your pets & will complete a full induction with you to ensure I have all the information needed to care for them just as you would. Experienced in Animal First aid. Careful introductions and meet & greets ahead of any planned group interactions to ensure the right fit for your dog’s temperament. Secure handling of keys and clear communication (Happy to I provide details of my up to date DBS check upon request) What your pup can expect: Plenty of sniffing, play, socialisation & attention (all dependant on needs of course). Drop‑ins, focusing on routine, toilet breaks & keeping dogs & other pets comfortable while their owners are away. I may even check if you remembered to turn the oven off, or water the plants before leaving for holiday! Every session ends with a quick update and photo so you know exactly how your dog or pet is doing. If you opt for a group walk: I keep my groups small (max 4 dogs) so every dog gets attention and most importantly stays safe. I’m happy to work with all breeds, sizes, & specialist needs & I particularly enjoy helping shy or anxious dogs build confidence at a pace that works for them. SO... Simon has been walking my Great Dane Casper for the last few months,In that time he’s become the only person I would now trust with him ♥️ We have tried numerous walkers over the last few years & they have never worked out for more than a couple of weeks at a time. Casper is huge and can be a handful, so it takes a lot to manage him correctly & we've had both male & female walkers before, who while lovely, just couldn't walk him safely. Casper gets very excitable around other dogs, can be nervous with new people & struggles with very small dogs,but Simon has been able to handle all of his needs & is such a calming presence for him. Simon would message me notes of things to try on walks when I take him out too, which has been so helpful.There were things that I didn't even realise I was doing to contribute to him feeling overwhelmed while we're out. Choosing Simon as our walker has been the best decision we've made for Casper & we wouldn't even consider going with anybody else! The best there is 😀
I’ve contacted Simon many times over the years to look after my beautiful Bengal and tuxedo cats and I always feel completely relaxed when I’m away. They’re always cared for exactly as I would myself - lots of fuss, fed at their set times, & as a nice bonus the house is always lovely & tidy when I get back! I have no hesitation at all recommending Simon's services. He is reliable, thoughtful, and my cats love him! Absolutely highly recommend him 😽
Just a short few words to say how thrilled I was with Simon’s caring assistance and kindness with my German Shepherd Emily. She loves him. She gets so excited when he takes her for walks and I feel totally at ease with him. Very trustworthy punctual and professional.
Couldn’t be happier with the experience! He’s so good with my dog and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. My dog always comes back happy and tired after their walks. He is friendly, reliable and someone I feel completely comfortable trusting with my dog. Would definitely recommend!
Simon is brilliant with our dog. We feel like Snoopy’s in safe hands when he’s with Simon. Simon takes the time to listen and understand what your dog needs, what his temperament is like etc. We are picky with who walks our dog but we always felt reassured when he was with Simon. I also learnt through Simon that our dog tends to pull when he’s not leading the pack, which now helps us when we’re out for a walk! Simon also cared for and walked another family dog, who is very nervous and anxious. He was brilliant and so patient with her, she grew trust in him. 100% recommend Simon - approachable, knowledgeable, friendly and clearly loves animals!
I can’t recommend Simon enough. He’s brilliant with ny dog and is so caring, reliable and trustworthy. My dog absolutely loves his walks with him, and it gives me great peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a dog walker!

Schedule
Just check in with me & I'll do my best to work with you. Typically I try to stick to Monday - Friday for regular walks & care, but I will go into early mornings, evenings & weekends where I can.
