Your dog’s new friend
I have been dog sitting from a young age for extended periods of time. I have 200+ hours volunteering at an animal shelter. I can cook soup for picky eaters. I have experience with high energy breeds such as malinois and huskies, and am able to take active dogs too the dog park. My passion for dogs has lead me to doing my own research on specific breeds/ body language, which has helped me learn what specific needs certain dogs may have.

Simon took great care of my pup, Panchito, throughout his 4 night stay. Simon regularly sent photos and some updates to let me know how my pup was doing, which was helpful because this was my pup's first time with Simon. When I picked him up, it was clear that Panchito was very happy with Simon as my pup first greeted me then went and shared his happiness with Simon too. I give Simon 5 stars and highly recommend him as a sitter. He tunes into your furry one and it shows.
Simon was really great with our two year old golden doodle (Marshmallow). This was our first time leaving marshmallow so we were all very nervous. Simon has a very calm, but firm demeanor, which worked really well for marshmallow. Simon communicated with us every day about marshmallows, health, demeanor, and playfulness. If there weee any developments that needed our attention he let us know right away. We would definitely leave little Marshmallow with Simon again.
Simon took great care of our American Eskimo puppy! He was available on short notice and was very responsive and helpful.

Schedule
I am currently a student at SJSU doing an online business program, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I just took care of a dog for 2 months and would really like to keep interacting with animals regularly.

Safety, trust & environment
I take dogs on at least 5 short walks a day. I have a fenced backyard that I like to workout in, as well as a balcony so any dog staying here will be outside many times a day. I have 3 water bowls set up so dogs have options on where to drink from. Great at communicating anything I am uncertain/concerned about. I will provide pictures on a daily basis.
A typical day
I wake up and immediately will take any dog in my care on a walk. Then there will be another walk either immediately before or after lunch. I will sit down at my computer to be productive, and will offer the dog(s) to go on my balcony during this time. There will be a mid afternoon walk, or I will take them to my backyard/the dog park where we will run and play around. There will be a walk around dinner time, and one more walk right before bed.
