Hi! My name is Simbi, and I’m so glad you’re here! I am patient & compassionate to EVERY pet I come across. I have served at & fostered through numerous no-kill animal shelters in the Houston & Chicagoland area that cater to domesticated animals from all walks of life. From senior kitties, to dogs rescued from terrible abuse/hoarding cases, ferets, and stray kitties; I’ve learned & been certified on how to read the body languages of all kinds of furry friends, so trust they’re in good hands! Friends & family in my community have always turned to me first to look after their cats, dogs, & even rabbits so they can enjoy their time away from home worry free. I am extremely detail-oriented and able to follow even the most niche set of instructions, restrictions, or medications your pet may need so please don’t be afraid to ask! I also have two cats back at home, states away, named Sunny and Luna. They have my whole heart and their love prompted my passion and understanding for excellent animal care.

Simbiat was a fantastic sitter. She agreed to watch our 14 year old dog, Daisy, on late notice and we were thrilled with her communication and care. Schedule
I am currently a Pre-Med/Pre-PA college student looking to make some extra money to support my student loans. School comes first, however I have plenty of free time that I dedicate to studying at home or volunteering at numerous organizations in the metropolitan area. I am typically an introverted person & never away from home for more than two hours at a time. This allows me to prioritize your pet’s care, comfort, and most importantly, their safety.

The apartment I currently live in is about 10 minutes away from downtown Houston. It has a fenced and non-fenced yard, with trails at a nearby park. This is perfect for walking and potty breaks (dogs) or for casual enrichment time if your (cat) is harness trained or allowed outside per your instructions. My apartment is safe as every hallway entrance requires a keycard entry, and my front door is locked at all times. I am very type A, so my living environment is clean & organized at all times to provide a spacious, yet safe, environment for your pet’s stay! Any concerns can be verified before booking is finalized :)
