This review is being written more than a week after the booking ended, intentionally, so it could be clear, factual, and honest rather than emotional. The experience was inconsistent and highlighted a clear lack of preparation and breed-specific experience. My dog is a Dachshund, a breed with particular behavioral and emotional needs. It became evident that the sitter had not studied or prepared for this breed and was mainly used to caring for very small, extremely calm dogs. Normal adaptation-related stress was not handled with confidence and was often framed as an issue caused by me or by my dog, rather than recognized as typical breed behavior. Communication was particularly problematic during the first three days. I received repeated calls and messages expressing distress and complaints about my dog, often without consideration for time zone differences, even though I was in another country. This constant contact created significant stress during the beginning of my trip. Shortly after, the sitter who was listed as responsible stopped communicating almost entirely. Although it was mentioned that her phone had been stolen early in the stay, communication from her never resumed. From that point on, her husband assumed full responsibility for communication and daily care. This was also the case at the end of the booking, as he was the one who returned my dog, while the sitter herself did not appear or follow up. After returning home, my dog was noticeably thinner despite sufficient food having been provided, and he had dark marks on his belly that were not present before the stay, which required monitoring and veterinary evaluation. I am not suggesting bad intentions. However, this experience demonstrated insufficient preparation, experience, and suitability for this breed and for owners traveling internationally who rely on calm, confident handling and clear communication.

Queremos agradecer enormemente a nuestra babysitter de mascotas por el excelente cuidado que le brindó a nuestra mascota. Desde el primer momento demostró responsabilidad, cariño y mucha atención a cada detalle. Siempre nos mantuvo informados con mensajes y fotos, lo que nos dio muchísima tranquilidad. Nuestra mascota estuvo feliz, bien cuidada y en manos de alguien que realmente ama a los animales. Sin duda la recomendamos al 100% y volveríamos a confiar en ella sin pensarlo. ¡Mil gracias por tu dedicación y compromiso! 🐾💛

Attenta, scrupolosa, molto dolce e presente. Mi ha mandato diverse foto per farmi vedere che la cagnolina stava bene ed era felice. Super consigliata. Sono certa che darò la mia cagnolina a lei quando sarà via.
