Information Silver K. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know a little about your dog! It's important for me to know about any allergies or aggressive tendencies. I also love hearing any little quirks your furbaby may have!
A typical day
Typical day here includes the pups playing with all their puppy friends, getting into our toy baskets, relaxing on our back deck, going for walks, running around our fenced backyard and taking some snoozes. What could be better than that?

You are welcome to arrive anytime within the 3-hour window (2HR window on Saturday’s). —————————————————————— Hi I’m Silver! I am a full time pet sitter & animal rescuer offering a wide range of services. Please look below for how I operate and what makes me different from other sitters! Please read my current Rover policies (at bottom of profile) to ensure I am the best fit for your fur babies! * Very experienced- I currently do Rover on top of operating my licensed & insured pet sitting business (Cadence Canine Care). Almost all of my pet sitting profits are used to operate my 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue (CCC Rescue & Sanctuary). Our mission is to help as many animals as possible! *Dog training & grooming experience. *Pet cpr and first aid certified. *Experience administering medication (both oral and injections). *Experience with all dog breeds. *Experience with all ages- puppies to seniors. *Experience with other pets including pocket pets, reptiles, aquatic pets and livestock. *Partnerships with multiple local and emergency vets in the event of a medical emergency. *Daily reports and pictures sent home to families every evening between 6-8pm. —————————————————————— My home and how I operate- Commercial kennel meets rover sitter! On a normal day, there are 15-20 pups here (5-10 boarding pups and 10 rescue/sanctuary dogs). Please note- I have been working with animals full time for 6 years and I am very well versed in conducting temperament tests, reading dog body language, organizing suitable playgroups and ensuring safe play. Safety is always my number one priority for both clients and my rescues. Although I am the primary caregiver, I do have staff who help me keep an eye on the group. You may see them during drop-offs and pick-ups. We have temperament tests in place prior to introducing new pups and take dog introductions super slow to avoid conflicts. With our rescue/sanctuary pups, we always have great playmates for all breeds/temperaments/ages! New clients are always introduced to my "pack" first. My pack consists of very stable tempered pups of all ages/sizes. If a new dog doesn't get along with my pack, they will not be allowed to meet other guests- no exceptions. This is a safety protocol I have in place to ensure the safety of my guests. Pups are allowed to play in my home throughout the day but are separated for meals, at bedtime and any time we can't directly supervise. We like keeping pups busy throughout the day on our 13 acres- kennel time is very limited! When pups are put away they relax in our "doggy room" complete with string lights, comfy crates, bones(if allowed) and a tv. We provide lots of walks, outdoor playtime and indoor playtime/ cuddles throughout the day. We also have a 6ft privacy fence on 1.5 acres that the dogs can enjoy with puppy pools and sprinklers (in summer)! We are proud to provide our boarding/daycare guests with lots of one on one time, group walks, photoshoots and fun activities. We also spoil them with monthly barkbox toys, homemade doggy treats, and an unlimited supply of tennis balls! We guarantee they will come home happy and tired after the doggy vacation! —————————————————————— Daycare and Boarding requirements- *Dogs MUST be crate trained. It is essential due to the number of pups we watch. We separate via crates at bedtime to prevent conflicts, during meals to prevent food aggression and throughout the day as needed (if I need to run an errand, do a meet and greet, etc). We do make exceptions for some of our regulars and senior pups, who we know will not get into things overnight. However, this is solely up to our discretion. *Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations (Dhlpp, Bordetella, Rabies). Must be on flea and tick preventive in warmer months. Negative fecal test. *Must be non aggressive (both to dogs and humans). At times, we can make exceptions for moody pups. If you have a reactive pup, please reach out and we will let you know if we can accommodate during your desired dates! *We prefer pups over 1yr old to be fixed. We can make exceptions, however please note that due to unfixed pup tendencies (marking in house, moodiness, etc) along with not being able to be with other unfixed pups, their playgroup during their stay will be limited. We are currently unable to accept dogs with the following behavioral issues-severe separation anxiety, fence jumping, door opening, excessive barking, un-house trained (with the exception of puppies currently potty training). As much as I love any and all dogs I'm unable to accommodate these pups in my home. I suggest my drop-in service or finding a house sitter for these types of dogs! —————————————————————— My policies- *Please note, there are additional surcharges for bookings during holiday periods. *I send one daily update per doggy guest- between 6-8pm. My updates include pictures from the day as well as a description on how your pup did. At this time I do not have time to send everyone multiple updates per day. Please know your baby is in good hands! *I do accommodate meet and greets for new clients however due to my busy schedule I can not accommodate meetings for last minute bookings. During meet and greets I show you the main areas of my home and will answer any questions you may have. Please respect my (and my doggy clients) privacy. I do not give full house tours or let people meet any of my guests.

Silver was great! Finn had a blast!!

Silver is an angel for my dog. I have been using her services regularly for the past years and he loves it. He loves it so much to the point I’m jealous he doesn’t miss it. 😅 I am truly grateful to know I have someone that will care for him with such love and kindness. Thank you

My angel 😇
