I’ve raised 2 dogs (one large, one small) since they were puppies and now at the ripe age of 8 and 4 I have learned a thing or two! Comfortable with young, old, and how to care for pups in this Texas heat! I’m just getting started on rover, so happy to meet up ahead of time and ensure you feel completely comfortable!

Needed help last minute and this queen came through!
I booked Silke to dog sit at my home last minute for a weekend, and she was incredible! My two dogs can be a bit rowdy with new people, but she handled them with total confidence and care. She kept them calm, gave them lots of exercise, and made sure they were happy and comfortable the whole time. I came home to two relaxed, well-cared-for pups. Highly recommend!
Silke is the best dog sitter I’ve ever had! She’s responsive, reliable, and amazing with dogs of all sizes and ages. She takes wonderful care of my 200lb senior Great Dane, who has some back and health issues—not the easiest pup in the world! Silke makes sure he’s not only well looked after medically, but also happy and loved with plenty of tug-of-war and cuddles. I always come home to a relaxed, happy dog and tons of photo and video updates while I’m away.

Schedule
I work from home and have a ton of flexibility. I would love to find clients I can build a routine with, but am open to helping out last minute when needed!

I keep a keen eye on pups that are new to me, and as I get to know them, and learn they quirks and lovable traits, will be sure to tailor care as needed. Your pups ARE my priority and I will treat them as if they were my own!

A typical day
We have a small backyard with a patio where we love to fetch and play. All plants in my garden are dog safe, and aww have a resident squirrel up a tree that keeps my dogs entertained. We also love walks around the block of our neighborhood and aren’t opposed to the occasional hike I’d be happy to incorporate if you have a high energy dog!
