I've sat many pets over the past years- cats,and dogs, although I'm open to sitting for new animals! I've worked with older animals as well as puppies and am a good cleaner. I'm happy to take your fur babies on walks or stay at your house to sit. Unfortunately, my landlord does not allow dogs at my apartment. I am usually pretty flexible and have pet sat for up to a week straight before!

I'm comfortable walking dogs on leash. I have had pups before who have liked to walk themselves. This was new for me, however the owner insisted that if we were close to home, they were okay. If there is more than one animal, I try to walk and feed them separately incase either is protective over their food or myself. I'm fine with animals on the couch or bed as long as the owner is. As for water, I try to change/ clean water bowls twice per day to keep them clean and appealing.

Thank you, Sierra, for taking great care of our boys while we were away. Everything in our house was well cared for and both of our dogs were happy when we got back. Sierra communicated easily with me the whole time I was gone.
Really sad with how this turned out. We initially thought she was going to be a great sitter for our two doodles. I was reassured that she was going to send us photo updates and that they would be in good hands for the day. After about 1.5 hours of being away from our home and around our dogs, communication stopped for 10 hours. No pictures, no texts saying how they are doing. I reached out to gain some kind of update and heard nothing. I sent my mom to the house to check on things and it appeared Sierra was under the influence. She stated to my mom that the dogs have had dinner etc. my mom left and gave me an update. It was only 1.5 hours after that we got a text saying the dogs were fine. After being almost two hours from home, we both could not sleep as we felt like our dogs weren’t being cared for. We left to head back at 2:30am and finally got a text at 3AM saying that her phone was under the bed. We arrived at 4am and noticed that our dogs bowls were in the exact location we left them with the same amount of food in them. Sierra was stumbling and slurring her words. We asked if they ate dinner and she stated yes. After we told her the bowls were in the same spot we left them, she recounted her statement and said “well I gave them water”. She could not even point out were their food was located. We noticed a vodka bottle on the counter etc. we don’t have a problem that she had some drinks but when it comes to the safety or negligence of our dogs, that’s when we have an issue. Truly unfortunate that this happened. Glad we listened to our guts and cut our trip short.
Sierra has walked and babysat my Bernese Mountain dog Lucie for over four years. She is always very attentive to her, while diligently following my instructions When Lucie and I run into Sierra in the neighborhood, Lucie is always excited to see her. Sierra is a true dog lover and gives her full time and attention to all the animals in her care. I highly recommend Sierra to watch over your furry family members.
Sierra was an awesome dog sitter for my two pups. They absolutely loved her and would get so excited every time she came over! She was super responsible—walked them regularly and gave them lots of attention. She stayed overnight when we were traveling to make sure they were comfortable and cared for. It really gave me peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We were honestly really sad when she moved out of Colorado—it's hard to find someone as dependable and kind as Sierra. I’d definitely recommend Sierra to anyone looking for someone reliable and loving to watch their dogs!
We have used Sierra many times caring for our pets (2 German Shepherds). She is very comfortable around pets and treats them as her own. Sierra has proven to be trustworthy, reliable and responsible. We highly recommend her.

Schedule
I can be available during the days and nights as needed. If I have a full work shift, I take my lunch breaks to come visit, feed, and let the animals relieve themselves.
